yes coughing is normal the first several days after you stop smoking...may continue for a week or two.....getting rid of all the old yucky stuff in your lungs! out with the old in with the new!

Your bod is running out of all the stuff that was in those cigs. Hang in there.. It'll suck bad for a few days but once you are past that it'll taper off. The coughing is normal too. That'll pass in a few days too!
