I remember the report. There were several women, at the time, making similar allegations and I don't believe this was one of them, but don't quote me on that. I didn't realize the first time I read through the article here that this all began in 2001. In my mind, if things were so clear cut with the evidence, then why has it taken so long to be cleared up? Just a thought. The military is typically quite fond of keeping these things hush hush and I have to wonder at why she didn't speak out earlier. Sounds to me like she had some hope that he'd NOT be reinstated and promoted. Wonder where and how she got that idea. Her statements now are in response to his new commission and clearance. I'm not decided one way or another and it's in my nature to be suspicious, but I still have a very hard time believing that anyone would go through so much personal exposure just to serve a vindictive purpose.
