What a fitting tribute to our soon to be former commander in chief and his former-former secretary of state.

Makes you mad at all the DIDN'T do...

I don't know the full story on the military logistics. There is conflicting information.
But if the military couldn't respond in a timely manner, it would be insane to have a consulate there.

Can't get two people who were actually involved to tell the same story and I'm supposed to believe a Michael Bay movie?

No, you're supposed to believe the president and his secretary of state when they say this was all caused by a YouTube video.

Yes, I too always prefer to get the facts from a movie.

Here's the "fact" I'm relying on: There never should have been a consulate in Benghazi at that time.
The fact that there was speaks volumes about the judgment of the people in charge.

The contemptible part about the president and his secretary of state lying to the families of those who died, about the time the bodies were being unloaded from the transport plane, wasn't in the movie either. Does that mean our president is not a "legitimate" commander in chief?
I don't know Michael Bay from Adam. I can't tell another movie he was involved with.
I will note the movie went to great lengths to not portray all Libyans as whacked out radicals.

Hillary and the President were responsible for Ambassador Stevens being in Benghazi? Really?

"...Ambassador Chris Stevens was responsible for the decision to travel to Benghazi. In-country travel is solely at the discretion of the ambassador, and he did not need to seek Department of State approval...."

Now I know this is from a notorious fake news rag, NewsWeek, but still....

I don't recall saying the ambassador was in Benghazi on orders from anyone. You can go back and check, there aren't that many posts.
My point was that it was insane to have an embassy or consulate in the city, one that apparently could not be protected in a timely manner by our military. A city that had no real government, no real police protection, and at least a few hundred heavily armed people who thought it was a good idea to attack the consulate.
What does Newsweek say about that?
