Just wanting an education

As you know, I am new to this site. I have so far, met a couple of very nice and helpful ladies here: SexySusan and Miss Taken, to name two. And again, I thank you for your help.
Please forgive me my ignorant opinion but there seems to be so much strife and in-fighting that newbies like me might get lost in it all and quite frankly, ignored.
I think that like some of the other newbies here, I am here to learn and grow. If those of you who are fonts of information leave or are so wrapped up in this "feud" that seems to be pervading all the threads I am reading, then what hope is there for us?
I really want this to be "my" place, where I can find answers and friends and understanding. From what I have read, I think most all of you are interested in making and keeping this that kind of forum for all.
I would really like help and feedback from you- people who understand and know. I think other newbies want the same thing I do.

Welcome, DR. Yes, as you have observed, we've had some bad moments lately, and it has cost us. But there are some pretty nice folks here who I am sure would love to get to know you, if you'll give them a chance.

Please do stay. This will all blow over. I'm not a font of info, but have on rare occasions, been accused of being nice. Just jump in, post, ask questions, state your opinions and read as much as possible. I've met some truly amazing people here. It is a good place and I have learned alot from the people here.

Thank you. I have absolutely no intention of leaving. Already I feel at home. And I agree that there are nice people here as I have read in many threads today. Even during times of disagreement, I can see in the words of these people that they really do have the best interest of this area at heart. I am so looking forward to the experiences that lay ahead.

Ahhh,...but we ALL were newbies here at one time.
Most of us DO know how you feel. I like to take time out for welcoming newbies. Newbies bring us ALL fresh insights to where we have been,...where we are headed,...where we want to go, and how we want to get there.

Some of the most valuable revelations comes from a new person asking an old question, or a new person making a comment that on the face of it, seems quite simple, but in reality, causes us all to think in a profound manner.

We at this Forum,...try to not *Role Play*, but to be ourselves. Searching for help, and trying to give it. As REAL people,...we all have our faults, and from time to time, we make errant posts, are not CLEAR in our worded posts, and sometimes we all get misinterpreted.

PATIENCE is the key word, take your time in understanding who WE are,...try to not JUMP to conclusions, give the other person a chance to clarify their opinion, and you will find most of us friendly and acceptable, respecting your inputs as prized posts.

Hope to see you stay and grow with us. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to kick it out there for all to read. Who knows,...someone just MIGHT have the answer you have been looking for.

It has been a little bumpy around here lately, but things will settle into place.

I encourage you to look through the older threads, there is a wealth of information there.
