It didn't. Carmax wasn't willing to give enough for the Cruiser. Have to hit an actual dealership at some point
But, at least we actually went and tried (even test drove something .. which, we were glad we had to wait till Mon. We both decided we didn't really like the vehicle we were trying to get)

My last car buying experience was less than stellar. My old car needed a timing belt so they offered me $100 to take it off my hands. I told them to go fuck themselves and walked off. That's when the gm came out and started the high pressure. So my old car sits out there as if I'm going to fix it.
I certainly won't turn down a yum though. Thank you.

There's nothing wrong w/ being the hunky smart guy. I personally find them far more preferable to the rest of the population.

We just want to be really picky with whatever we get. The last car I tried to get on my own (back around '99/'00) I was desperate for a car (the previous had completely gone kaput on me, and I needed another quickly) and they didn't give me much of an option. Said the white escort wagon was all they could put me in based on my credit, and of course I settled because I was young and desperate. With the Cruiser, we won that... so didn't have much option there either. So, needless to say, this time around we won't settle. We want a make/model/color that WE want. If we can't get that, we'll walk. Luckily, the Cruiser still runs good for the most part, just tired of putting money into it.
Hope your weekend goes better than how mine has started off (started feeling sick last night... sore/swollen throat mainly)
