Just Some Guy...

Yes you are.

It's gonna be 75 and clear today. I'm gonna have to get out and enjoy it. Soon it will be gone.

Wish I could throw some your way.

:p
Aside from the rain it was 73 yesterday, however, today....brrrrrr
I need something to warm me up...another picture of you maybe?:D
let me know if you need to "relax" again and I'll see what I can do;)

You have the right idea, though around 80 this weekend. Spent a huge chunk of time on the beach. Small swell, though absolutely gorgeous, just like the man of the hour.

No rain here, but bright and sunny. I already have my tan going strong, MG.

MG, going to see Shadow's Fall and Clutch soon (not together) though, I can't wait to see Clutch, I believe I have told you. They put on a small venue show so well. Shadow's Fall has gone too mainstream, IMO, though Clutch has stuck to their roots.

Honey, as I have stated, chickadee, you, MG, et. all... Fun times, I should say.

Hope you have a great week. :)

Saturday was gorgeous here (80) and yesterday and today were cold and rainy.

We'll see when the mood strikes me again ;).

thank you.. you are a sweetheart.

No tan likely for me. When I first started posting, I was in a much sunnier part of the states. Now, much cloudier.

Hey, I think you owe me some reviews of other shows you have seen recently. You know how much I love to hear about the bands and their performances.

Clutch has stuck to their roots, although I do believe that each album has a unique feel.

Careful with that mic weezy

I just re-read my post. You and "small swell" should never be referenced in the same sentence.

I think I told you of the Clutch performance in Tempe. Fucking fantastic. I can't wait to see them on the east coast in a small venue.

You are quite correct on the feel of each album. Clutch has kept to their own sound, though has expounded each album to be their own. They have ranged from heavy sound to almost characterizational fun...

I can't believe how small of a man that Neil is, though I have a feeling he could kick a person's ass in a heartbeat. Last I saw them out west, it was a rocking show and I am looking forward to seeing them again.

Full review after the show, my friend.

Ever hit the beaches here and I would be able to show you a good time at a show and teach ya to surf, to boot, dude. :D

Oh... I am still trying to figure out on the Weezy part. Please don't laugh, though I can't help to think of George Jefferson when I hear that line. Laughing too fucking hard.

Everyday I wake up
I drink a lot of coffee
and watch the CNN

I'm sure it will be a great show.

And COC?

You gonna teach me to swim too? The show, I'm sure, would be a huge success and a lot of fun.

I'm not sure. Took me a while to think of what the hell he was saying. I'm pretty sure it's not the Jeffersons though.

On a completely different note

Did I see a moment with you?
In a half lit world
I'm frightened to believe
But I must try, if I stumble, if I fall
I'm reaching out in this mourning air, ohh

Have I got the strength to ask?
Beyond the window I feel this fear alone
Until we have total honesty
If I tremble or fall
I'm reaching out in this mourning air, ohh

Should I feel the moment with you?
To softly whisper, I crave nothing else so much
Longing to reveal total honesty
I can feel your touch
I'm reaching out in this mourning air, ohh

I'm reaching out in this mourning air, ohh

I grew up with COC, as they are out of RDU. COC rocks. I saw them as a bar band. Kicked major butt. The Brewry used to showcase them all the time. This was back before the major radioplay they are getting in the past few years. Darn, I have live cassette tapes of them from the early 90's.

Portishead... Good one, dude. I love their music. I have quite a bit of Portishead albums.

I am a music whore. LOL:eek:

Teach ya to swim, paddle out and how to hold your breath in the wet. *devil*

Hi MG. Guess I missed all the good shots. But that is one hot AV!! Sexy as ever i see. Hope you're having a great weekend.

Apparently I've missed a whole lotta goodies in my absence.

:(
*scolds self*

it won't happen again.

MG, this is probably one of my fav's of Portishead... She has the most breathtaking/sensual voice, as does Tori. Enjoy your weekend. Sun is coming up. Taking the dog for a run on the beach and then catching a lip.

I'm so tired, of playing
Playing with this bow and arrow
Gonna give my heart away
Leave it to the other girls to play
For I've been a temptress too long

Just. .

Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
I just wanna be a woman

From this time, unchained
We're all looking at a different picture
Thru this new frame of mind
A thousand flowers could bloom
Move over, and give us some room

Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
I just wanna be a woman

[INSTRUMENTAL]

So don't you stop, being a man
Just take a little look from our side when you can
Sow a little tenderness
No matter if you cry

Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
Its all I wanna be is all woman

For this is the beginning of forever and ever

Its time to move over... ...

*edit* The lyrics have nothing to do with anything for me, just listen to the song. Damn, it's a fantastic song.

This song came on the other day and I thought, "I'm tired of being 'Just Some Guy.'"

Like a fly to doo doo
You need me like a bird needs wings
Or little bunny fufu who needs to bop the field mice
So all the kids can sing

They call me El Jefe
El primo de los matadors
The master of the metaphor,
A chaw chewin' troubadour
The one you've come to love and adore,
And I've come to take you away

Take you away
Take you away
Take you away

Take you away
Take you away
Take you away

I'll make you go goo goo
Like a baby that sees candy right before its eyes
I'll kiss your little boo boo
Make it better than it's ever felt before

They call me El Jefe
El primo de los matadors
The master of the metaphor,
A chaw chewin' troubadour
The one you've come to love and adore,
And I've come to take you away

I'll take you away now
I'll take you away now

Can you do the two step fleshtone slide?
Well I'll teach you
Can you do the achy breaky eyeball dance?
Well I'll teach you

Can you do the two step fleshtone slide?
Well I'll teach you
Can you do the achy breaky eyeball dance?
Well I'll teach you

They call me El Jefe
The boss and the point man
And I've come to take you away
They call me El Jefe
The boss and the hit man
And I've come to take you away

Love COC. Good stuff. Although I defintely prefer the Pepper years. I just don't care for the punk sound as much.

New Portishead coming out soon.

I am an addict. I don't want recovery.
