I have a pet peeve. Or a few.

But I'll just discuss one right now.

See, I'm not a big fan of the multi-quote. It has its functions. Like when there are several related posts which need to be addressed together. It works then and I'm fine with it.

And my thread isn't hugely popular, so I rarely have the need to do what many women have to do. Post a thanks to one hundred people at one time.

I see the need there and won't take that away from them. How many different ways can one person show appreciation to a very similar response to your pictures?

I understand. I just can't comment that way. If I take the time to comment on somebody's thread, I try to choose a picture I like or comment on a friend's thread or comment regarding the person's wit or personality. Having a thread is much more than here's my skin.

At least I think it's far more interesting if it is.

So my pet peeve is getting multi-quoted or not getting replied to at all. Sure fire way for me not to return to a thread.

I know there have been times when I haven't replied, but that's usually after I've taken a vacation and the comments I have to reply to are no longer of relevance.
