Secondly, it's not an ego thing with me. Geesh, not at all. Not in the least. I'm just a regular human being with thoughts and opinions and feelings, too. So, I guess if there's something more than a simple pat explanation, it would be that I wanted a second opinion, in a manner of speaking. I mean, yeah, my husband has always said things like, "Oh, you look cute in that" or "Wow, you look pretty today". And I'll never take his compliments for granted, but I dunno... maybe after a while, you just want a second opinion.

I guess everyone wants to know they're appreciate, and I'll admit I'm no different. I only did this for me; to satisfy my thoughts. I'm really very flattered by the compliments, too. I truly am. But, in a way, your compliments sorta prove in my mind that what my husband says IS true. And I know I shouldn't take his word for granted, and I don't... but still... It's just nice to know, hey, he DOES mean it, when he says it. I suppose I always knew that, anyway.
