I came home and there was the package sitting my mailbox. No one's home so I had to break in the deck with a game of Solitaire. Of course, since they're AH cards it was strip solitaire. I lost. The eight of hearts (elizabetht) was buried and that stopped me.

So now I'm naked. Might as well take a shower. :)

Cards look great ABG and Mal! Thanks.

Now, when we win or lose a game, we know which of our friends to blame!

Thanks! I'm glad that they work as intended ;)

Somehow, though, I just can't feel bad that you lost at Strip Solitaire...

Anyone who gets their cards before I get mine is CLEARLY boinking his or her mail carrier.

(This means you, Boota :p )
I don't think he has to boink his mail carrier to get preferential treatment. He just stands there on the porch in his AV pose, looking all bad-assed. If it's a woman, she swoons. If it's a man, he says, "Here you are, sir . . . " as he skulks away trying not to make eye contact. The power of having presence. I'm so jealous.

Jammies, if you're not going to boink your mail carrier . . . :p

You want to boink Sal's mail carrier?

Subtlety evidentally doesn't work for me. I might have to be a little more obvious next time :D.

She's very good at deviating, just so you are warned :) She's really quite the deviant.

Any help would be appreciated. I just don't think she gets my point (wow, there are so many ways I could take that . . . *holding hands over mouth . . . hhmmff hhmmff hhmmff*).

Too bad you didn't order cards...then you could draw yourself on one of the blanks in the deck, and get HER card, and use them like puppets to explain yourself :)

Mine are here and yeah.....

one for keepsake and one for strip..... whatever game catches my fancy....

No I'm not bonking the mail lady.... her old man looks like Boota, only bigger and meaner....

Now Jammies..... do ya want to carry my male  errr... mail.... :D

Thanks to Mal and ABG.... great job guys...

I have a different mail carrier every day for some reason. About every fourth or fifth one is a boinkable female. I wasn't home today, so I don't know who I owe a good boinking to. :)

S-Des, a funny thing about presence -

Years ago my band was dealing with a management company who was a full time, hand-on type of company. They came to the next practice to critique us after one of our shows. The issue they had with us was stage presence. Our old singer didn't command the crowd, the bass player might have been sleeping, the other guitarist stayed back by the amps for the whole show, the drummer hid behind his rack toms. They had all these suggestions for improving our stage performance for everyone but me. I had to ask them what I needed to do. The woman said, "You just go up there and play. You're fine." LOL. So, my stage presence consists of walking onto a stage. I can handle that. :)

I used to work with the Swinging Love Hammers (the singer was a finalist on the INXS series last summer). Talk about presence, the guy was utterly hypnotic. It's not teachable, he just had it. Most bands suck in some way with that, I get to see so many that I wish I could say something. Unfortunately most of them are pretty touchy about it, so I just let it go. Good that you guys were willing to listen. It's important to getting popular. I tell students all the time that the last thing the audience wants to see is the top of your head as you stare at the floor or your hands. It's called enteretainment, right?

It's true. I used to see it a lot when I worked Ren faires. I can command a stage occasionally, but it's not something I do easily unless I am "in persona" -- just me on stage doesn't work. Put me in a bodice and I transform. But it's hard to do on a lit stage. I did better when I worked in daylight, outside, and had to sing well enough to get folks to put cash in the tip basket. The group I sang with had a couple of real tearjerking ballads I sang lead on, and occasionally I could get some woman in the audience to cry (not over how we sounded, but how sad the song was!)

Some people just take up space on a stage...I suspect Boota be one o' them :)

Ok, just got home from the doctors...my cards were sitting in the mail box waiting for me.

All the usual suspects complained about the accommedations and that all the higher number had more room etc., etc.

Mal, ABG - Fantastic job. I especially liked the silver seal. :)

Each one applied with my own little papercut fingers :D
