I'm still pissed at God. It doesn't matter, it's a good direction to aim anger, a good way to focus suffering, a nice way not to take out your problems on family and friends.

I emailed my pastor to say that God and I broke up (I haven't gone back to church for awhile). I told him I was studying Buddhism now because there was far less bullshit with Buddha than with Christianity.

His response? He just laughed and told me he had a few good books on the subject.

I thought he'd be shocked and excommunicate me. Nope. This very intelligent and deeply religious man obviously feels it isn't a big deal, anger is something everyone works through, "God can handle it." he said, feel free to shout away at the sky.

So I do. It makes me feel a little better.
