Cassie bent a long limb in front of the mirror and admired her shoes. She was still not sure what it was that prompted her to buy them, perhaps it was the way they stretched her calves out underneath her tights, exaggerating her legs. For the first time in a very long while, she had felt sexy, thought fuck it, and bought them. Standing in front of the mirror in the morning, admiring the way the sharp heels tapered to a luscious stiletto red point, she knew they were dangerous heels and by far the raciest thing she would ever have worn to work. They went perfectly with her dark skirt, and knowing that she would have to stand up on the tube in them, walk 3 blocks in them, stand all day in them, knowing that they sent, nay exclaimed her sexuality, against all her better instincts, she wore them in to work.

The train was a good ten minutes late that morning, and wrapping her jacket round her for warmth, Cassie felt the chill of the October morning hanging in the air. She grew aware of the gaze of the well-dressed businessman next to her, and glued her eyes to the floor; reluctant to meet his eyes. Her usual morning run was second nature to her by now, and a combination of her mother’s genes and her aptitude for exercise meant that she had a curvy, but athletic figure; rounded in all the right places, with a light layer of muscle tone. Her legs were by far her favourite feature, long and shapely, and her eyes were a definite strong sea blue, wide with long dark lashes. They looked out on the world from under her bright pixie cut and startled strangers with their intensity.
So she was used to men’s attentions but not necessarily comfortable with them, never knowing the right thing to say. The sad thing was, she thought, making her way into the patisserie on Killigrew Street, that she desperately wanted to get laid, that she had the dirtiest thoughts but could never in a million years have voiced them to a man. With a deep sigh, she dumped her bag in a locker at the back of the shop and looped her apron around her waist.

(Couldn't PM to see if this was open... I hope it is)

Tim was on his way to work as well. Though it was his turn to pick up the pastries for the morning. Everyone rotated it and he had heard of this shop that was sorta on the way. So after getting off the train himself he would move down towards Killigrew Street.

His larger frame meant each step was a long stride to many. He walked with a purpose though he wasn't forcing his way through the people walking to get to work as well. A briefcase was in his hand as he looked up seeing the street he wanted. He turned down and kept looking at the various shops. He knew it was around here some where.

He walked into the shop upon finding it and looked about. He had never been here before so he was checking out the layout. He did notice the people and saw the blonde woman slipping on her apron. He did his best to give her a once over without making it to obvious as he started to look into the cases to see what they had to offer. He figured someone would assist him or point him in the direction of a number taker if needed though with the few people in the shop he figured he was safe.

OOC: Yeah I'm kind of new to this again, so didn't really know what protocol was. It's totally open :)

Cassie gave the shop a sweeping glance as the space behind the counter began to fill, everything was neat and in order, the bright glass counters had been filled by Denise, who had been on early's that morning. Hot and delicate, the pastries, cakes and biscuits looked delightfully quaint on their separate, creamy stands and Cassie could smell cinnamon and apple strudel cooking in the kitchen at the back.
Speak of the devil

Denise appeared from the kitchens with a cheery smile, looking down at Cassie's choice of footwear and bustling past with the strudel beautifully laid out on a platter.
"You're gonna kill someone in those shoes, lady" she grinned at her and Cassie grinned back and held her hands up.
"They seduced me. What could I say?" she quipped back and was rewarded by Denise's light scottish laugh ringing through the shop.

The shoes in question turned back to the counter, to face a tall, dark, devastatingly handsome man and a pair of bright, sparkling eyes smiled shyly up at him.

"What can I get for you, sir?" Cassie inquired politely, smoothing her apron out over her waist and suddenly feeling very conscious of his eyes on her.

He caught a glance to the woman carrying out the tray of pastries. He could smell them even with everything else in the pastry shop. He closed his eyes a moment as his nostrils just took everything in. Oh man he was going to have to run a few extra laps at the gym to work this off.

Though he was brought back to reality by the sound of a lovely young voice. It was the blond woman he noticed when he first stepped inside. He could feel her examining him as he was returning the favor. After a brief pause he would remember why he was here. "Hi yes... I need an assortment of pastries to bring into work... so I don't know if there is some sort of normal variety box you sell or... what..."

He would give her a big charming smile as he seemed a little out of his element in such a shop. He didn't put his hands on the counter or lean on it as it looked too nice to dirty up with smudges. He did eye over different things as he awaited her suggestions.

Cassie blushed and glanced down at the floor as she was caught admiring her customer's physique, the colour blooming radiantly on her peaches and cream complexion. What was it about handsome men that intimidated her? It certainly didn't help her 'game play' as her house mate Rory would have described it, the cheeky bugger. "You got those big bambi eyes, but no game, girl!" His voice echoed in her head and brought a smile to her pink cheeks.

She cleared her throat quietly and laced her fingers prettily on the counter, leaning slightly as she felt her feet starting to ache. It was going to be a long day.
"Certainly" she replied "We do a variety packet in 3 sizes, large, medium and small. The small box contains 6 pastries, the medium contains 10 and the large is more for feeding the 5000" she smiled "that has 20."
Cassie pointed to the 3 stacks of cardboard packets on the counter and then to the little violet sign next to various pastries on the counter; "the pastries with the violet sign next to them means they can go in the variety packet, you just have to choose which ones you want."

She hoped she had been clear enough, and stood back to give him a good view of the wares on sale, her eyes surveying his face and awaiting his choices.

He would listen to her intently. Being polite and keeping his eyes on her own. No sense being a complete animal and looking down and over her body more so than her face. He would nod as she talked attempting to keep up as he heard about how many pastries came in each size box and which ones were available to go in it.

He would lean back a bit look over the case as he wanted to see what was included. He was doing some quik math in his head as he then stood up straight again. "Alright... well I will take the large box... and just give me a couple of each that can go into it..." He would pause a moment and look directly into her eyes. "Everything in the store looks good...." A little flirting wouldn't hurt anyone as he gave her a half smile that in itself would be very charming.

He would remained where he was, not once worrying about the time. He didn't have an actual start time but he only had work that needed to be done. So when he got there and did it was his business. As he stood there he enjoyed the smell of the shop and when she wouldn't be looking at him directly he would admire the view it had to offer as well.

Cassie felt her knees weaken and her blood run south as she watched that sexy little half smile play across his features. For a moment her mind escaped her, caught up in thoughts of how his lips would feel crushed up against her own, exploring her body. And then she remembered herself and began to collect the pastries into one of the larger boxes, smiling coquettishly to herself. She heard herself reply and before she could snatch the words back, she knew exactly how they had sounded. "Well thanks, I assure you it's all delicious too, and if you disagree you can come back and let us know" It was less the content and more the tone of her words, they sounded sinful and suggestive to her ears.

A small bell sounding at the back interrupted her and Cassie hurried to the kitchen, taking the last of the strudel carefully out of the oven and setting it out on a plate. But before she came into view again, she had an idea. Locating a scrap of paper and a pen, Cassie wrote her number out, and underneath it, added a little something.
Just in case you want a taste of something sweet.
She folded the paper up in her hand and popped back around the corner, slotting the last danish into the variety box, with her scrap of paper lying flat underneath it.

"There we go" she folded the box lid and slid it across the counter to Tim and leaning slightly across the counter "That'll be 10 pounds then sir"

"I am sure it all is..." He wasn't going to remain completely quiet about the way she spoke.

It wasn't until she walked away that he noticed her heels. The sound of them and the look of them. He would raise a brow wondering why a woman working in such a shop would wear heels like that to work. Sure they did the job of making her legs and rear look fantastic but they had to be uncomfortable.

He quickly came out of his thoughts as she put the last of the pasties in the box and put it up for him to take. He took out the ten pounds and handed her the amount. He took another five and slid it into the tip jar. "Thank you..." He took the box in his hands still with that half smile on his face as he couldn't let it rest completely. "I liked watching you work in those heels..."

He hoped he wasn't being too forward as he did begin to take a few steps back. He couldn't just turn and leave after saying that hoping in a way that she would have a comment back to him. Oh please let her have a comment back.

OOC: Hey sorry I thought I'd replied but obviously lit didn't save it... >.< I digress.

IC:

"I liked watching you work in those heels..."
Cassie beamed at her customer as he slid a huge tip into the jar, it was always nice to be appreciated. She lowered her eyes briefly and blushed as he mentioned the shoes, she knew what she looked like.
"Thanks...they're uncomfortable but hey, you've gotta live a little sometimes, right?" this charming man has won over part of her confidence and she hoped he would try and win the rest of her, hard and repeatedly. Ahem.

The young woman offered her hand to this dark stranger across the counter and looked at him from under lowered lids. "I'm Cassie" she said simply.

He nodded his head to her statement. Then he looked to her as she offerred her hand. A smile coming to his face as he shifted the box to be in his left hand only and set his briefcase down to take her hand in his own. A light shake would be given to her. "Tim... it is very nice to meet you Cassie... and I definately agree about living a little... life is too short... sometimes you just gotta say...'what the hell' and have a little fun..."

He would hold his charming smile as he flashed his white teeth to her. He shifted the box to be back in both his hands as he didn't want to walk away just yet. He was trying to survey her other hand to see if there was a ring on it. He own left hand was bare but he couldn't tell right away if there was a ring or not on her own.
