Hiya Chip. We're ok, sorta. We had high winds and rain/snow up here in the mountains as a result of Sandy. And last night a power surge fried our thermostat so we did not have heat (except for a living room fireplace) until about an hour ago, when we had a new thermostat installed. We're tired and warming up, but it was a long coldish night.
We're lucky compared to many on the coast. Just talked to my daughter recently, who lives near Philadelphia. They've been told not to expect their electricity back on until the end of the week or later. I suspect many of the East Coast litsters are without power right now.
Well, there oughta be at least a few more poems in this for me....
