Hi everybody. Just checking in. Today makes 15 days post-surgery. I now have two steel hips and a steel stent. "We can rebuild him..."
Getting around with either a walker of a wheelchair, depends on how far I am trying to go.
Taking some wonderful medication. 2 types of pain pills, 1 muscle relaxer, and a pain pill booster(keeps the medication in your system longer). So I don't care a lot about anything right now. I am still in pain, I just don't care much about it.
I have been checking the board everday. Good exercise to get in here and back to my room.
Surgery went okay, guess they found some problems ther were not expecting. It seems my muscles were too 'tight' and they really had to fight to get everything in.
I will be in and out over the next few weeks. I am out of work now until Jan 2, 2002. So once I get over some of this pain I will be able to spend a lot ot time at my favorite place.
