*HUGS* cloudy. So happy for you.

Thanks, Rob & cd. Not sure I'm ready for this, but then, I wasn't really ready to be a mom when I had her, either. I'll live. :)

Does that mean I'm going to be forced to go from 'Grumpy Dragon' to 'Grampy Dragon'? ;)

I hear ya, girl. I am happy, but it does seem a tad early. Oh, well.

If I have to go there, so do you! Deal. ;)

Just so you know Clouds, a minute after getting your text I turned to one of my employees and told her, now watch, couple of days max and she'll be talking about being too young to be a grandma...

...but it only took a couple minutes, and we both had a good laugh over your follow up text!

Love ya babe! I think any child with you as a grandma is blessed!

They do say that grandchildren are your reward for having kids! Congratulations!

I made my muma Grandma at 41, she's quite getting the hang of it now :D

I've always said I wanted to skip the kids and go straight to the grandkids.

Super huge congrats, you sexy grandma, you!

Congrats Cloudy!
Best wishes for the prospective Granny and Parents!!!!!

Holiday Camps

That means that you could go to British Holiday Camps and enter their 'Glamorous Grandmother' competitions.

They run weekly throughout the so-called summer as a distraction to the pouring rain. The heat winners come back for the finals in the Autumn (Fall) when the rain rains harder and is cold.

But perhaps a new grandmother has better things to do...

Anything is better than a week in a British Holiday Camp. I'm not sure that the prospect of winning a heat and coming BACK for another week is a win or a losing scenario. It reminds me the old joke:

"The winner gets to spend a week in Skegness.

The runner-up gets two weeks in Skegness.

The last place gets to spend ALL SUMMER in Skegness."

Congratulations. Just don't frighten her with tales of your horrific pregnancies - leave that to her friends and you do the 'It'll be OK' speech.
