Just a wee question.

Master and i met on lit. we became really good friends first, followed by an online relationship lasting all of two weeks, then into real life submission. the story of his first drive up to where i am (nine hours away) is in his sig. my name is also the link.

Yeah I had a pretty long trek to see KT too, 2 hours in the plane and then 3 on the train. which I think made the whole experience even more intense/special.
Thank god it worked out or it would have been a real downer. 4months of lit/msn chat laid a good foundation tho.

Sometimes that sounds completely ridiculous to me, other times I think I'm the luckiest man alive.

I remember waking up some where over the ocean between Philly and London, looking out the window and thinking "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING? THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE CRAZIEST THING YOU HAVE DONE TO DATE!" and having a mild panic attack. *giggles* Then I fell back asleep.

I was very glad I did, tho, from the first moment he called to me in that crowded Dublin airport.

That was even more of an epic trip than mine! So happy it worked out. When are you returning to Eire and your Celt?

Long treck. :p

3 flights, 2 lay overs. I started in Dayton Ohio at 4pm local time (okay so I was 2 hours early for my flight) and ended in Dublin at 2:30pm the next day local time.

And if things didn't go well, I was stuck there for 9 days, and another long ass flight home, even longer than getting there (left the hotel at 8:30am in Dublin, got back to Dayton a little before midnight local time)

looking at May. :( Unfortunitly that looks like the best timing for the both of us. But I'll be there a bit longer this time as well. So that's good at least.

I suppose its a insentive to make it work! Where as if you arranged to meet in your local pub and he turned up with the wrong coloured shirt youd just stand him up!

You can not imagine how many times I thought about him not picking me up at the airport. It was probably my biggest fear, maybe even my only. The reasons varied in my mind from simply forgetting what time I landed, to changing his mind, to taking one look at me and walking back out the door.

And I'd never been in a city like Dublin before. I had to learn how to hail a cab and everything. *giggles*

lol that reminds me when I saw you face to face for the first time, without the beard!! That wasnt allowed lol, you look totaly different without it!!!!

If we agreed on meeting on the trainstation, I wouldnt find you there, LOL!

*giggles* Okay, this was another fear of mine, not recognizing him. He must have felt pretty simular because when he called to me in the airport it sounded more like he was asking if it was me. *giggles* Of course he did come up from behind me. Guess he recognized his fat ass when he saw it. *giggles*

I met my Master online. After spending time travelling across from the Atlantic I left Ireland to live in Canada with him and now we are coming up to our second wedding anniversary. LDRs are hard but they can work. I wish you and yours the best of everything.

Do you think I could have your citizenship? Or do you still need it? :(

[/tease]

Out of curiosity, does Canada have a dual citizenship arrangement with Ireland?

I honestly don't know if there is dual citizenship, I haven't reached the magic three year timeline yet when I can apply for citizenship here. I am a permanent resident which means I can travel freely and have all the rights of a citizen bar the right to vote. But I think I have to choose one citizenship over the other, which means when the time is right I will become a Canadian citizen.

If I could give you a way to be in Ireland I would, I know how hard the LD thing is. But I also know how rewarding it is when you get to be together. :)

hehehe

It was big fear of mine as well! I wanted pick up A. on the trainstation, but he told me to wait for him in my flat, that he will find His pet no problemo hehe and then he told me he has a map of my town and already knows where I live. That really impressed me!!! :D

Well I was waiting for Him at home. Was eating my potatoe salad when he text me "i'll be with you in 10 pet" which really shocked me cuz I didnt even know he was already in my town!! You wouldnt believe how fast I changed my cloths!!!!!!!! lol Well, I was ready for Him since the morn, but still needed fix myself a bit. Then I took 5 mint chew gums which first fall me down on the ground 3 times LOL, cause my hands were shaking. I was so afraid he will see me and run away.

Then my sister knocked my door and told me theres some foreigner with a travelling case infront of our house and I knew its Him. I told her to gogoggo and ran for my A.:D:D

That is one thing I'm thankful for, that, when and if the time comes, I won't have to choose. The only bad part about that is that even if I'm living in Ireland, in order to keep my US citizenship valid, I'd have to file US tax returns.

And I know all of the hard work will be worth it in the end. I'm just not very good at waiting.

it is nice to hear about when it does work for the best, tho. :)

I had such a horid time at the airport in London that I called him (mid way between where I landed and my next flight). I was tired and cranky and not at all impressed with English hospitality at that moment (I some how manages to skip past customs and nearly made it to my next flight before I was stopped and told I had to go back and go thru customs tho I wasn't told how). I told him I was tired and cranky and I still had a 20 min walk (according to the sign next to me) to my gate and this place was fucking huge and I just wanted to go home.:eek: He laughed a little and calmed me down but by the time I got thru customs in Ireland, I was very cranky and actually forgot to fix myself up before I got to where he said he'd meet me. I complained in the taxi ride to the hotel that I had wanted to fix myself up a bit for the first time he was to see me. Some how, I don't think he noticed that much.

Yea I think A. wasnt really checking if I am perfect either. I opened the door and we huged and he told me "see pet, told ya I will come to see you!". I was so grateful he did. Calmed down a bit in His arms and then we went to my flat and had some good food, beer and His bday cake. Was really nice me thinks. Loved to see Him so happy. Made me very happy too. :)

LOL, long?!! I think when F visited me he had a 26 hour flight to get there and he insisted on doing it in a suit!! Hmmmm, now nothing but work will get him in a suit, and if he can talk his way out of that he will.:( Think my longest trip back home has been 32 hours, shortest from memory 20 hours. Despite the distance, and the hour and a bit drive to where we were staying when he arrived, we managed to play all night and into the next day.:D We then had to drive back to the city to lodge papers for our marriage, and then back to our apartment for some more days playing and getting to know each other face to face.:)

Yeah, I know what you mean. I remember getting ready to go and me her finally, freaking out a little all day. Then, when I finally saw her walking through the crowd towards me? It was just like a movie. Everybody on the sidewalk was in dark earthtones, heads down, walking oh so busily, then it was like the sea parted and there was my baby coming towards me in a brilliant green dress looking like a starlet. At that moment, everything else washed away.

Fuck, I sound sappy.

Yes you do hehehe, what you said sounds like from Pretty Woman. Love it!!!! :)

I like when dominants are NOT ashamed to speak about their feelings. Theres nothing wrong about loving your sub/slave and say it loud!! I think its very nice actualy. I mean, I love Him and and I am proud I belong to Him. And yes I want the whole world to know I am His.

I was advised to be comfortable rather than wear something nice while I was traveling and just change there. The problem is, I was in no mood to change, and missed what opertunities I had. I think I could have worn what I wanted to, and next time I probably will. Tho all delutions of wearing a corset have been thrown out the window!

Yeah compared to your journey mine was a mere daytrip. Lovely story by the way. Even the wee trip I went on was a big deal to me cause I hadn't lef the country since 91, I didn't even have a passport and couldn't speak the language. But as I said before I'm heading back in jan, cant bloody wait!

The boyfriend and I are long distance and met on the net. We knew each other through a discussion forum and over MSN for over a year then decided to meet each other and it went from there.

We'll have been together a year next month! :D
