October...full of fall foliage and thoughts of Halloween....


But October is also breast cancer awareness month.

We see reminders on billboards and get flyers in the mail....Hell, Coming together has a special edition concerning breast cancer.

BUT.....


Do you give yourself (or have your SO give) yourself breast exams each month?



Have you had a mammogram?

Have you heard on TV or the radio lately, they are saying that the medical association is now dismissing self breast examination. The reason behind this is that they say it has been proven to be uneffective!!

Then just yesterday, I heard on the TV, Pap tests are now being concidered unneccessary!

WTF, all these years, spread-em and prod-em and now our girls don't need them? I don't think so!!

I think its a way for the government to take them off of the covered by government insurance list, so we have to pay extra to have them done once a year like a medical for work! Frigging men in power, who needs them!
