I was out last night, and picked up a leather riding crop 24" long for about 6 bucks at a "Farm and feed" type shop. Don't forget to look at places like this for you toys , they sell everything and it is 1/4 of the price you might pay on the web or a sex store.

You know what? You can get some astoundingly good deals at www.festishauctioneers.com right now. Really. I've gotten a bunch of stuff. Since eBay decided to dump all the BDSM vendors, FA is trying to build the site - and many of the vendors have dropped prices on a wide array of toys. I've gotten two canes, some zippers, a box o' play piercing needles (24 gauge), a gag, and a really cool hogtie from FA in te last couple months. I know that Risia has gotta a few things from them in the last month or so - and dixi (??) too, i think.

Go see. It's not as cheap as a $6 crop but you can't get a lot of this stuff in tack stores or Home Depoty or Wal-Mart or any of our usual places, either. Some of this is truly lifestyle specialty stuff and you gotta go to a lifestyle artisan to get it.

(Ahem. Those zippers? Fun. Big time fun. I recommend them - and they're *cheap*, too.)

Yep, cym.....dixi got some new toys there too. I got 3 canes in different lengths for less than $30 with shipping. I also got a Wartenburg Wheel for less than $15 with shipping. I've only lost one bid so far out of three. Its fairly easy to win bids there right now, that is until others learn that site is there and great!!

I also found a really cool site through FA, called Affordable Bondage Gear (I put a link on Wizard's Link Thread ). Its mostly leather items like shackles and such. I just received my first order from there the other day....a hogtie, Y shackle and 2 shackles (pictures are on the toy ref thread)...all for around $40 with shipping. They seem very well made and the leather is not too stiff or too soft. Looking forward to these lasting us for quite a long time.

Oh cym, you've gotten me carried away....lol. Seriously, I now go through just about any store looking at items in a whole new light...
