Just a little something

*sigh* Can't get no appreciation around here, huh? Well, :p on all of ya!

Sorry April, didn't even open the thread. Almost thought it was another flaming thread.

But thanks for the info and cute joke.

Now about that tongue...need any suggestion on where to put it?

:D

And here I thought April was flashing us again...

Oh the disappointment :p

Already knew the joke ;)

Well, sorry for boring you with it a second time!! :p

And hey, we don't get any attention here in the middle of the friggin' boondocks, so I like to draw a little our way. So :p again!

Really, though, I think it's pretty cool that there is something going on here. Granted, it's not much, and the planes are long gone, but still. I just hope hubby doesn't leave for a long time. Who knows.

I should have been in bed an hour ago.

April, you know as well as I, that YOU being in bed about an hour ago......nah ah.

It aint working that way :p

Nightowl!!!

*sniff*

How do you spell "fuck you" again? :D

I'm trying something new. :( I got tired of the hubby person shooting wicked glares at me.

He added, ``There is huge symbolic importance in what has happened with Europe coming to our defense through NATO aircraft but it has a very practical and concrete benefit to the United States.''

Perhaps most symbolic of all is the participation of German troops in an effort to protect U.S. territory as part of an alliance created four years after the end of World War Two.

Very cool. I love the whole idea of Europe coming to the defense of America on our soil. Has that happened since the French sent a few ships to bottle up Cornwalis at Yorktown?

vie gate es eenen? <now this is only phonetically spelled ... but you can appreciate my fluency in the German language> .... lmao ...

and how come everyone is sticking out their tongues? :p

and really Nance ... i am soooo sorry ... i don't get the NATO joke ... not after 2:00? eh cherie? well at least it wasn't 4:20 ...

Don't know, DCL. But it's an interesting subject. There have been Germans training in the states for some time now. I'm not sure exactly where, but I think in AZ and NM. Oh, and Oklahoma too. They go there to train on the AWACS, and then come back here.

Sorry Isabella. It's an in-joke. If anything happens after 2:00, you can forget about it, as everyone has gone home. ;)

Wie gehts es innen. I think that's how it is spelled.

"Bumsen sie??"
This reminds me of a time when I was living Germany. My cute, devout Catholic flatmate wandered into the kitchen where I was reading a book and he asked, in German, "What are you doing today?"

I said, "Nur bumsen." I mean to say bumeln, as in 'just bumming around' (and that still probably isn't right) and it came out 'just fucking'.

I wonder where these foreigners get the idea us American ladies are loose...

But man, the look on his face was priceless. Still, the dear religious boy was very polite. He said very carefully, "I do not think that means what you think it means." And then fled.

Good times.
