Just a little ditty

Another country song. I have to admit to liking the Morgan song. I haven’t heard this one, but I’m going to dislike it based on genre alone.

The little ditty appears to be crossing racial, gender, and even international fence lines. I can't help but notice that the 'elites' (and those that think they are) are dissing it in a myriad of ways..............none of which make much sense. A case of throwing shit at the wall in the hopes that it sticks.

I couldn't sit through the whole song. I'll wait for a cover by anyone else with a singing voice.

Colter Wall could do it.

There are some left wing folkies who love this song. Left and right wing working class grunts are converging in their disgust of "rich men north of Richmond." Divide and conquer tactics have been deployed and ignored.

That is precisely the point. The song has crossed political, racial, national, and gender lines.

It's the system that's fucked up. The rest is simple-minded squabbling over nonsense.

There is a club, and you're not invited. You, either. None of us is.

There's a whole segment of the population that hasn't figured that out yet.

... and the sign said everybody welcome
to come in and kneel down and pray
and I didn't have a penny to pay...

I have not listened to the song. Some trumptard (he doesn't actually admit it) I watch on YouTube because it's "prepper" thinks (thought) it was a call to civil war blah blah blah. He will probably never mention it again. My ears perked up when the singer supposedly turned down "million$". I knew then he was no conservative. Still will not listen to the song but surely do enjoy the trumptards whining about being "fooled."
