the little one was bored though - she had no one to play with and we didn't really go anywhere...........so we got her a bunch of her own movies to watch

Yeah, that's always a problem with little ones, keeping them occupied if you're feeling a bit under the weather. I'm sure she was ok though, watching her films :)

Between that and finishing her valentines for school she got through the weekend. Luckily she has a DVD player in her room so we weren't subjected to Strawberry shortcake movies.

LOL, I know the feeling....sometimes we have to physically boot the kids out so we get some time to watch the shows WE like! :D

She's had a tv and dvd in her room a couple years now. We weren't getting to watch anything except cartoons on weekends.

LOL, our two have them in their rooms to, but they don't have the Sky tv connected in there so they only get a few channels.....which means we have to put up with them downstairs watching their shit all the time :rolleyes:

We have cable so ran a line to her room, we will be switching to satellite soon but got her a receiver too.......thinking ahead.

Well, we're gonna upgrade our satellite box soon so we'll put the other one upstairs in our room and they can sod off there to watch it :D
 
Hey all,
I haven't been around much. Traveling for work means all day meetings and then dinner. Mind you, I'm not complaining, while I don't get a lot of sleep and have to be on my "professional" mode for too many hours, it has gotten me away from the cold and snow the midwest is experiencing! Southern California is having frickin wonderful weather this week LOL

How is everyone else doing this week?
