Morning Trala

Sorry, I had to do an emergency run to the orthodontist this morning with the brat, one of her brace fixtures had come off and they're closed from tomorrow till 7th January

No worries LM.

*pours a nice relaxing cup of coffee*

At least now it's done for you and you don't have to worry about her being in pain over the holidays.

Mmm, thanks *sips coffee*

Yeah, luckily they managed to fit her in today but it's a 45 minute drive to get there, so it's a bit of a pain!

That sucks but better than having a cranky kid for 2 weeks.

Welcome on the coffee.

*rubs shoulders*

Yeah, I don't think it would have bothered her much, it wasn't rubbing or anything, just would have set back her progress a bit, that's all.

Anyway...*relaxes into shoulder rub*....mmm, that feels good, thank you.

How are you after your exertions the other day? A little more relaxed now?

That's good, I've never had braces so know nothing about them.

Welcome, I know where the stress builds. *nods*

Not too bad, was a little sore yesterday morning and went to the gym last night. Just a little tightness in the small of my back but it will be fine by tomorrow I'm sure.

No, me either, but looking at the way they're set up, they stick little metal fixings to the teeth and run the wire through them and as the wire is gradually tightened, the teeth are pulled straight. It's one of the little metal fixings that had come off. No biggie. But it was on the tooth that's got furthest to come back into line

*rolls neck* yes, just on the top of my spine, I often get a stress hump there :(

Did you have a nice hot bath last night after the gym?

Hopefully ours won't need them

That is just the spot - I think everyone gets those silly humps *rubs gently to base of neck*

No, just a quick shower then bed I was exhausted.

Oh, I can see the youngest is going to need them too  Luckily we are getting all the work done on the NHS, if we'd had to pay for private treatment, the eldest would have cost somewhere in the region of $3,500!

Oooh, that feels good....thankyou

Well, have a soak tonight, that should ease away the last stresses... :rose:

We have no coverage so would have to pay the entire thing

Welcome, as I say, I know the feeling.

May do that - depends on what else is happening around here.

Of course....we do complain about our national health service, but I have to say you realise it's value when something like this happens..

Well, you need a massage too honey! ;)

Never mind anyone else, you need to look after yourself!

We have decent coverage for doctors but none for dental here, unless it is through a work group plan

Funny enough my sister jokingly offered me a massage from a masseur named Sven in a towel. I immediately came up with a list of Litster names (might be a thread in there )

I know I do and I make time for myself now and then.

Well I suppose that's better than having no cover at all for medical stuff. But dentistry is expensive once you start needing it done!

LOL, sounds like a nice fellow... :D

Good, if you're not around they'd have to get on with it, so don't be frightened of giving yourself a little 'you' time :rose:

Except I know she was kidding about it *sigh*

Oh I do take "me" time.............now.
