Guessing you're looking for ideas for alternate sentencing? Indentured servitude in lieu of fines for example. Or - a sort of eye for an eye type of thing - in place of a term of incarceration the defendant's sentence is a term of slavery. That might pose ethical problems IMHO.

So for whom? In a civil trial that's sort of easy - the wronged parties brings an action and if found guilty the party being sued attempts restitution for losses. So here a period of servitude to an individual could be a way to 'balance the books'. A plea bargain of sexual servitude brings a shorter time of sentence vs. just providing labor?

Criminal actions though - so to prevent the old eye for an eye type of thing the action is brought by the state. Hmm... so instead of going to prison perhaps the person found guilty agrees to literally become property of the state? "You are to be remanded to the penal bordello at..." so as to - ahem - work off your debt? I guess some crimes would provide for immediate removal to an auction block - proceeds in lieu of fines? For crimes of violence this could get icky - a term in a state run bdsm brothel for assault - but Lit might frown on snuff punishment for capital crimes.

I'm working on a story with this concept. It takes a lot of suspension of disbelief, but it's fun. A woman who is a high-powered banking executive travels to a Pacific island country ruled by a "sultan" who is the absolute ruler of his island, for the purpose of negotiating a lucrative transaction, and she knowingly violates the law of the country, as a result of which for a year she must serve as a slave and member of his harem. She is caught between the desire to be independent and to escape and the almost irresistible pleasure offered by the term of her slavery to the sultan, who, of course, is handsome, urbane, well-educated, and incredibly appealing, despite being an absolute ruler.

I was inspired by him and created a similar universe, but with some of the more objectionable parts of American style slavery absent. Also took care of the tiger in a leach problem.
My advise write more about the the comom man and woman in the slavery situation. Sultans, kings and billionaires, already have slaves, it is not a fantasy, but the bank clerk that has to cope with the new slave the court assigned him is a good fantasy.

Or it's just a normal scratch card lottery where one of the prizes (not even the main one) is a slave girl. He tries to ask the lottery co. for a cash prize instead, but ends up with the girl on his doorstep.

She's been chipped or collared or something, and is happy with her fate and is distressed by any suggestion he might sell her or set her free.

He lives at home, though, and can't afford to move out, which is why he played the lottery hoping desperately for a cash win. There's no spare bedroom, and everyone both disapproves of the principle of slavery and desires to use the slave girl's willingness to serve.
