Jonesey

Awww, sweeetheart, I feel your pain. I'm shedding some tears for Jonesey, too. He was a good cat and he left you many wonderful memories which will bring you many smiles and much happiness in the future but i know that does not make this any easier to bear now.

You were a good friend, and I am sure Jonesey was glad of your company when he needed you the most. :rose:

I am very sorry for your loss.

I have had many cats in my life. All of them lived to be quite old. It is always difficult to let go of someone who has become part of the fabric of our day.

There is a short passage in the Lord of the Rings, about humans and elves. It talks about how elves liked the company of humans and sometimes fell passionately in love with them. This was a problem because elves live nine hundred years. The Elf could only watch, helpless as their human grew old and feeble and eventually died. The heartbreak was so deep, most never let a human near their heart again.

So many words fail me and so many feelings flounder.

Thank you for writing this and thank you for being here, and I'm sorry he's not there for you but glad you were there for him and for me.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Losing a cat is just like losing a friend. They don't always let you know they're happy to see you, and they don't always accept your invitations to come out and play, but they always seem to be there when you really need them.

Chokes me up just thinking about it :(

I'm very, very sorry to hear about this. I absolutely hate it when the fur friends die. I had to put one of my two kitties down a few years ago (cancer). It was Time when I did it: she hadn't slept in two days and was clearly in massive amounts of pain. Her son, my other kitty, died of a stroke while I was on vacation.

They're both planted out back in our old house. I miss them both very very much.

I share your sorrow. Many hugs. :( :( :(

I am so very sorry:rose:
This breaks my heart to hear.
You're a good kitty mommy:heart:
