The Pentagon felt that there was a need for cutbacks in the budget. The top brass discussed the options and decided to offer early retirement, with full benefits plus a bonus, to the first three Generals to volunteer. The bonus would be calculated at $10,000 per inch measured on the general's body to any other point on the general's body, general's choice.
The first General to sign us asked to be measured from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet. The measurement came to exactly 6 feet for a total of $720,000.
The second general stretched his hands over his head and said to measure him from the tip of is fingers to the bottom of his feet. The measurement came to exactly 8 feet for a total of $960,000.
Now the third general caused quite a stir when he asked to be measured from the tip of his penis to the base of his scotum. The top brass tried in vain to get him to reconsider, showing him the totals of the previous two. "Are you sure," they asked for the umpteenth time. "Absolutely," replied the General.
They placed the measuring tape on the tip of his penis and proceded toward the base. Everyone was ready to laugh at him when the doctor cried out, "My God, man, where are your testicles?"
