How are things with you and the family?

Everything is fine except that my little girl is now driving and I'm getting more grey hairs too quickly. . It's never bothered me so much before, but wowzers, I'm a wreck when she's out.

I just started a good book on the Life of Jim Henson. I might bring it to read by the side of the pool. NO cannonballs this time. I don't want the book to get wet.

Well, its the 2nd day in a row with no rain, after the last few weeks that feels good, now to just get the temperatures back to normal and all will be fine. The weather people are saying that in a matter of 3 weeks we've almost completely wiped out the damage of the 7 or 8 year drought. That's crazy!

I may actually be able to begin watering my lawn and gardens again. That will make us all happy here.

That's great news in terms of the drought. I can't believe with how you guys have been suffering with a water shortage that you catch up with a couple weeks of rain.

We've been pretty lucky here. Even with a few storms it's been a pretty mild winter.

Listen, I went to see La La Land.... Did I see you in the background of the opening? I know you take every advantage to jump out of your car and dance with your fellow commuters.

You saw me dancing? How wonderful is that? Except my old Beemer wasn't good enough for the front rows It was a great movie didn't you think? It's been a long time since a musical (of sorts) has held my attention like this one did.

It was a good year as far as the movies went. What was your most recent favorite? I've had few but will divulge at a later time.

Good Saturday afternoon! Just got done cleaning the pool & jacuzzi after all the winds and am ready to kick back for a bit. Thinking I'll have one of my favorite drinks and watch Kentucky vs. Kansas play some basketball.

I got dirt under my fingernails during my lunch break so I'm awesomesauce. I miss having a garden so make do with potted plants, I've 7 new ones scattered around my apartment this evening!

Things here are great, thanks. I'm glad to hear of the new plants. We're just now getting into our small gardens after all the rain, it's nice working in damp soil for a change.
