Hope everyone is well here in the Romper Room.

I just had a fight with my cats while trying to put sheets on my bed. I won the battle but they will win the war.

They are very lucky they are cute!

Just came home from a 'Frühshoppen' which has nothing to do with shopping but everything with wine ...

I managed to get the meat for tonight out of the freezer, and green beans and I peeled the potatoes ...

Now I will have a short nap, I think. See you all laters!

Seriously already into day three of my winter wonderland adventure and the adventure part has been worn thin.. Sister seems to be holding me personally responsible for my niece being stuck in Dallas, hopefully she will be able to get out today, airport keeps cancelling her flights out. She got the last seat available out of Love Field for today, lets hope the hotel shuttle can get her over there. Me.. I'm craving bacon and have none.. and want to go to the gym.. grrrrr.

Oh dear ... I can't offer you bacon, but I got some lamb from the freezer, would that do? I do hope your niece catches her flight.

I hope so also, and that the weather in Vegas doesn't stop her from landing when she gets there. Weather channel was talking about snow in Las Vegas today. :eek:

Hi everyone!!!

Just made it home from work.... A night of sleet and snow. Not too much accumulated yet but it's nice to pull into my own driveway.

Next is the battle for my bed... Me vs. my cats.

Niece made it home to Las Vegas safely yesterday afternoon.. and her missing luggage was sitting at American Airline's claim desk.. they couldn't find a flight out for her but her luggage made the trek???? :rolleyes:

As for me.. still iced in but that will change later today, girlfriend's son is coming over to salt my stairs and around my truck so I can safely make it out to get my baby cleared off and rolling. I really need to shop (bacon) and go to the gym..

Glad your niece made it and found her luggage waiting for her, Sunbunny, I am also glad your bacon-craving will be stilled later today.

I made five different kinds of cookies yesterday, and a sixth from the rests of the five doughs kneaded together.

Now I only have to defend them against my offspring. My husband doesn't have a sweet tooth, so for him they are safe.

I didn't yet.. I just got to the store after work yesterday.. and got so much yummy protein sources (meat) that last night I had pastrami sandwich and tonight is salmon.. I'll save the bacon and eggs for sunday morning ;)

I just finished a scarf for a friend... The pattern follows the Fibonacci Sequence found in nature. My daughter worked on a science experience with roses and we did more research on it. I wish I could post pictures.
