Damn, the wind is insane this morning. It woke me up around 4:30am and hasn't let up at all. I'm crossing my fingers that the deck stays together. Things are flying everywhere.

I hope you all have a great Friday and the start to the holiday soon. Anyone traveling or have big plans? We're cooking and feeding a bunch of folks. I always love this time of year, seeing family & friends.

Feeling better this morning although still have a headache. That was a bit scary, but it's passed so I'm moving on.

Uneventful weekend planned. Winds are still whipping here, so I'm not even sure if I'll get outside. I do need to work on a couple of papers so this gives me some incentive to focus on those.

Just finished baking peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. I burnt the bottoms of the first batch, but after that everything was good. I also made a monster cookie, for pizzookie later. Now, what kind of ice cream for the pizzookie?

How is the GB game counted if we use the spreads? I didn't win that square but I don't understand why I lost it? Favorite didn't win by more than spread but Underdog didn't win either.... Please explain (using small football words)....

ok, it was a tie game......as a result, whatever the spread is goes to the underdog......for instance......lets say Minnesota was a 3 point underdog, in the final score it would go down as Minnesota 26 +3 = 29 to Green Bay's 26...keep in mind that the underdog always gets the spread added to their final score......

does that make sense?
