The sun is shining here again after some dark end of fall days. The streets and the grass are still wet from last night's rains, and the reflexions are simply marvelous.

I made it!!! :roll eyes: The presentation went as well as could be expected, my professor seemed pleased so I just wait to be graded now. The test was tough, but I also think I did well on that. The tough part is that I have no classes next Monday so I won't get any grades for 2 weeks.

Good morning everyone. I hope you all are having a good week. Things should slow down for me a bit now for a couple of days although the end of the semester is sneaking up slowly so I need to consider finals and such.

In the meantime, I'm thinking I need a little naughty fun. Thinking about it and will discuss with Mrs. J soon. geez, this school thing really gets in the way

It's hump day~! Shall we?

Wind is blowing like crazy here, Santa Ana winds making their presence known and as a result everyone gets cranky. I'm going to try and steer clear of the nasties.

Short day at school today, but I have to go into the darkroom and may be there a while.

Hump-day sounds nice ...

I suppose St.-Anna winds are as bad as and kind of the same as the Föhn wind here. Those winds can get so hot, they even called a blow-drier for your hair after that wind in all the german and dutch speaking countries here.

They sound very similar for sure. Not all of the Santa Ana's are warm but most are. The big issue outside of the obvious though is the fire danger. Quite often big areas of brush will catch fire, sometimes burning 1000's of acres and of course anything in it's way.

I'm glad you liked the hump day idea. I know I did.

Föhn also is heightening the chances for a fire, especially if trees and shrubbery already are dry in the summer. In the winter stuff is wet enough to be safe.

I got up this morning and was wondering how Munky has been doing. I know he doesn't have a lot of time and more than likely doesn't care to be bothered, but I was still wondering.

It's Thursday and no classes. I do have a Vet Info meeting for lunch and hope to review my next semester's schedule with my advisor. I may pick up one more class but not sure yet.

I'll be taking a Rhetoric in Pop Culture class, a film editing class, another photo class and associated lab, and a I(intro to Politics class……I may register for one more, but that's 13.5 units so I'm not sure yet

That is an interesting mix you have registered for, John! 13,5 time units will that be the same as you have been taking now? You are okay with the amount of time you need to spend on homework (I love that word!) now, aren't you? So why not add another class you are interested in?
