John's Rustic Romper Room

hehe..I won't ask for details!;)

we have dry or wet weather plans - so its all good!

*grins* I am going to a spa with friends and I will enjoy a present my offspring gave me: A Hamman-masage ...

You are well prepared then. Will there be pictures afterwards?

not as far as i am aware...they have them in Oxford though - they are very picturesque.

Yes, I know, I have seen them on pictures and on the TV. A special model, very typical. Quite some time ago I was planning a vacation on a similar (*grins*I am sure they had robbed the plans for the boats in Oxford) houseboat in France.

River-views without houseboats are nice too. Even if it rains. A river gives (?, makes ?) a completely different impression in bad weather.

So true...I am very lucky living so close to the Thames - I used to see it every day on my walk in to work. And i agree - a river takes a whole different look on when it rains.

For five years I had to cross the Rhine twice a day on my bicycle. Even if the bridge was high above the river and very long, I always could defeat my vertigo long enough to take a good look. Somehow rivers are always very much alive. Even if no ducks are visible, no cow is standing with her forelegs in it and moos at a passing ship.

The Thames has a lot of birdlife on it...and behind my house there is a meadow through which the River Ock runs, a tributary of the Thames. We get water voles, otters, deer - all sorts behind the house!

Cold beer it is!! I love having happy folks around Don, if there's anything else you need be sure and ask. And doesn't the Dutchess look like she's having fun over on the tramp? :D

Cheers John!!

Heavens yes....it is an image fixed firmly in my mind right now!!!:D

*grins* Oh, you two! :kiss::kiss:

I'll move over to the pool now. All that jumping and bouncing made me wanting to stretch my arms and legs far from me and dream a bit on a raft.

I'll take a beer too, John, don't bother, I'll get it on my way over to pool.

I'll hold your robe for you....:D:kiss::kiss:
