It's been a rough week for me.. managed to hurt my back on Tuesday and have felt like shit all week and barely moving.. home time has been spent in the recliner with a heating pad instead of hanging out here.. Then yesterday one of Babygirl's friends posted a picture of a band function and she was right in the middle of the dance floor with the biggest smile on her face.. and another mentioned that the reunion organizers had asked her to speak about Babygirl at one of the events this weekend.. she declined because she didn't want to cry in front of them all. But just the fact that they were even considering it since the high school system pushed Babygirl out of school spring of her senior year and she enrolled in another school and finished on the five year plan amazed me.. and let me know that she is remembered and loved..

My parents left this morning and with them the strict disciplined eating plan and hours we had to obey. It was great fun having them here, but a bit ... tiring too.

John, you are doing homework and I am simply lounging.

Kat, I would have loved the housecleaning. I spent a lot of the morning putting things back in order after my mom helped me this week. She helped with almost everything: the towels and things she folded don't fit onto the stacks, I couldn't find the big pan, the small pan was standing in the cauldron, milk- coffee- and tea mugs were all mixed up and so on. It is nice of her helping me though. I do appreciate it. Really.

My dad thought it would be a good thing if we cleaned out and reorganized the cellar ... We did. We found lots of stuff offspring had put in there at some time or an other. We made offspring decide if they wanted to keep their stuff or if it could be disposed off ... That took some time, and all had to be carried up into the apartment, because the cellar compartment is much too small to do any selecting in.
