John's Rustic Romper Room

It's not often I'm not all over the bouncing boobies, but honestly, I don't think they'd help at this point. :mad: I haven't been this sick in a long while, but getting lots of rest and beginning to turn a corner, I think.
 
Monday morning and I'm feeling much better! Still a bit of lingering aches and discomfort, but I feel much better. Heading to work soon, but will check in a bit later.

I really hate these coughing bouts, I am fine otherwise, no fever no nothing, just coughing like mad two, three times an hour. I feel so tired after one has passed. And it really hinders me now, I am sewing new covers on all the duvets (they got awfully threadbare around the edges but otherwise they still are perfect) and at the last bout I somehow managed to throw the box with pins on the floor! Of course it was open. I spent a few minutes bend over to collect them and immediately had the next bout.

My asthma did the same to me forever before I found a doctor that diagnosed me properly. It is rough

I am very glad you got the right diagnoses!

I am only coughing for three days and I hate it as much as when I was a little girl and had bronchitis a few times each winter.

Hi everyone. It was a lazy day yesterday so I'll be trying to catch up a bit today. It's so weird, I feel like I need to take some time for myself and then afterwards I feel so behind. I need to work hard on finding a balance, somehow.

How has everyones week been? Only 2 more weeks of my math class, then a few days off before fall semester starts again. Have I said lately how crazy it is going back to school at my age? :D

Hi John!

You can do it! I have girlfriend our age who went back last fall to get her Master's.. dorm room living and all! She stressed a lot the first semester but settled in and enjoys the experience now! She will pop in at the parties, cheers on the teams, and does all the events!
 
Sadly, I must report that I blew my final. I still passed the class and honestly thought I did well, but my score certainly didn't reflect it. Oh well, life goes on. I have a busy weekend, playing golf in the morning with friends, poker game tomorrow night and when that's over Mrs. J & I are going out to find some mischief. Sunday we're going to a swap meet and then Monday I'm actually playing in a golf tournament which I'm excited about.

I hope you're all having a good week and that you're weekend is even better. :D
