Great time jumping around a bunch of galleries. Found a very interesting photographer I'll be studying for a bit.....Stephen Wilkes.....check him out here if you're interested, his Day to Night series is amazing!

It seems to be the morning for memories to be dredged up from the depths by pictures.. The one in the California series of the beach with the plane shadow.. When my life was falling apart one of the constants was my Friday night 'date night' with my husband's best friend.. All above board and innocent and with husbands knowledge, in fact he would drop me at work on Fridays for friend to pick me up after work. The friend worked for a package delivery company and I would ride along with him on his route.. we were friends and he was my sounding board. One evening after a particularly rough week he had a drop off at LAX.. after he dropped he took me to the beach at the bottom of the runway.. we laid on the sand, holding hands and bathed in the moonlight as the planes roared over our heads.. so close you could almost toss a rock up and hit them. Amazing!
We lost him last spring, I miss his friendship and his good heart.

My typical long Monday is ahead. In pretty good shape with my work, but have some stuff coming up and will be busy most of the week. I did get lucky and my third fantasy team also won so I had a great football day yesterday!~!

Hello everyone

Just stopping by to say hello to everyone.

I would love a quick swim and relaxing in the pool today.

I spent this morning hand feeding my daughter's pet rat, Paper. She had a stroke last week. She bounced back pretty well but has weakness in one side. I use to think people were crazy caring for animals if they weren't "real pets" aka cats and dogs. Now I'm soaking food blocks in milk to make them softer to eat. Call me crazy, now!

Yellow Rose I had a cat we called Devil Cat and thought I would be so happy when something happened to him, alas he got sick I cried spent way too much money on him and he lived happily ever after! So I understand.

It was ok.. not what I wanted to be doing on a day off work. At least I didn't feel bad walking in 20 minutes late due to traffic because I was not the last to arrive or the only one stuck in it.. seems everyone that came straight from home got delayed, including the teacher. What is normally a 15 minute commute took almost 45 minutes.. and it was only 10 miles.
