Okay, who's your favorite actor?

I think Nicholas Cage is cool. But he's made a few dogs lately.

What do you think about Cage in a western?

For me it has to be Henry Fonda and James Stewart. On Golden Pond was a damn fine piece of actin'. For comedy I go with John Goodman. Wish he would get a movie role that let him play like his Roseanne role did. That is all. Every body else sucks. LOL

Can't say I ever saw an Indian Film.

Why Indian film? If you don't mind me askin.
(as if anyone could stop you from giving an opinion. wink wink)

Play It Sam...Play it

Bogart, how can you not like than man in Casablanca?

Maureen O'Hara, a feisty little minx in The Quiet Man

Well I'll take your word on the Indian movies. Never saw one but if you say their good, they most likely are.

I like some foriegn films. One that come to mind is "The Red Balloon". Saw it in school as a kid.

Your parents came here in 78?

Damn! I was in High School in 78.

Hell Elvis died in 78.

But I will resist calling you wet behind the ears. LOL

Strong resistance there Ringo.

Al Pacino. "Dog Day Afternoon"

(John Wayne voice: "Well ya better come over and sit by the campfire with me lil buckaroo, do some kissin', and ya better not clench those butt cheeks, Mister.")

Pacino in the old days! Yeah before Celestialbody was born.

Serpico was another good Pacino movie.

Call me old fashioned........but I really like old Jimmy Stewart movies.......that cocky smile......

<sigh>

Jimmy Stewart made some good westerns!

The Man who shot Liberty Valance.

And the one where he was sherrif and some bad men were comin to town. Forgot the name of that one.

Not just westerns, id have to say Mr Smith Goes To Washington is my favorite.

"You all think I'm licked. Well, I'm not licked, and I'm going to stay right here and fight for this lost cause even if this room gets filled with lies like these, and the Taylors and all their armies come marching into this place."

Oh geez.....date you? Hell I was born in 75

I was born in 69!

Love Jimmy Stewert but John Wayne is my favorite in a western. Connery is my favorite Bond. Sean Connery and Harrison Ford are my two favorite actors.

I dont really like John wayne........but Jimmy Stewart.....yes

You gotta love a man who never slapped a woman on film

<<<<<Maureen O'Hara, a feisty little minx in The Quiet Man>>>>>

I saw a biography of Ms. O'Hara on A & E, and John Wayne said
that she was the "best guy I know". LOL, that is very high
praise, in a weird kinda way.

Those of you in NY, LA, Detroit, and other Metropolitan cities would have an easier time tracking down the versions with subtitles if you ever get the urge to see one.

No Offense intended, but every time you mention Indian movies, I shudder.

I suppose my only encounter with them has a lot to do with it. My Rent-a-Wife in Tahailiand talked me into going to one. Five hours of spoken Hindi, and Thai subtitles left me seriously confused. (One movie, four intermissions.)

One of the better experiences in movies, is watching an American movie dubbed into Thai with English subtitles. Especially if it's one you've seen before and know some of the original dialogue.

As far as Hollywood is concerned?
Of the newbies, Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles. 10 Things I Hate About You. I wanted to tie him up after I saw The Patriot-the eldest son

Oooh, I agree, he was something wasn't he? But I would much rather tie up Jason Isaacs (Col. Tavington). Damn that man is hot! I've always had a weakness for the bad guy, even if they usually die in the end.
