I was so saddened by the passing of John Ritter. I am a great fan of his.

I have been watching the specials about him and they seem to leave so much out. The only thing they mention is his father, the dating game, 3's company, the waltons, problem child, hearts afire and 8 simple rules.

While this is a lot, he has done much more. I would have liked to see a mention of his guestshot with his wife on the cosby show, some of the other movies he's done (just saw a great one the other day- he was a preacher and a firefighter who God but couldn't believe it was a miracle.), comercials he's been in (I once watched the entire infomercial for 'Where there's a Will there's an A" becuase he was in it. It's also a great product by the way) and the kids shows he's been involved in.

NO mention whatsoever of CLIFFORD, which he does the voice of! I also saw him on a kids show once (I cann't remember what it was, it might not be on any more) where he came in and read 'The true story of the 3 little pigs,' or something like that. Does anybody else remember anything that has been overlooked, or just wish to share?

I agree, sexy--the first series I ever saw him in was an episode of Hawaii Five-O. He will be missed!

His talents far exceeded the popular choices usually mentioned.

I was fortunate to see John Ritter, alongside Henry Winkler, on Broadway in Neil Simon's "The Dinner Party".

Both men succeeded in raising thousands of dollars for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids by holding raffles after many of the performances during the annual theatre drive. They both gelled well with the Broadway community, and I have heard many wonderful tales of how friendly and warm John Ritter was to those he met.

I'm so glad I had the chance to view his talent in person.:rose:

I was most touched by the comments that Henry Winkler made about him. I couldn't watch that part without tears.

He will Definitely be missed. It is so hard to accept a sudden death like that. And he was so good as a comic and an actor. It is scary to think that this could happen to us also.

I loved him best in Sling Blade. He used all the quirky traits of his Jack Tripper character and he had some really funny lines in the movie. May he rest in peace.

He was great in Sling Blade. I never could watch 3's Company though. Just not a TV watcher.

I missed that movie, will have to rent it.

I enjoyed his wit and humor, which went beyond the characters
he played in the sit-coms. I always got the impression he was a kind and gentle soul. RIP john, your passing will be missed. :rose:

69forever...........you really have to rent or buy the movie Sling Blade. Once again, he was an awesome actor in the movie. I don't often watch movies more than once, but I did watch this one at least four times now.

It will be real hard watching the current sitcom that he was involved in. I feel so bad for the cast and especially his RL family. In an interview that I saw of him and his wife, you could tell that they were so in love. I still find myself not wanting to believe that he is gone. May you RIP John Ritter and may the prayers for your family be heard.

Actually A movie to check out is "Skin Deep"

a very funny Blake Edwards movie starring John Ritter

especially the glow in the dark scene
