She will run.
Ambition knows not patience.
Since no one has ever stood up to her, whatever would deter her? She cares not about what people say or think about her unless it is the press praising her as the smartest woman in America.
No, she'll run. Daschle better start getting prepared, because within the next year she will need to nueter him and Gephart in order to be perceived as the power in the Senate. Similarly, it is only a matter of time before she and the Hollywood establishment go after honest Joe and how he helped Algore loose.
I believe she thinks she is in a win-win situation and must go sooner rather than later. later give historians and political scientists, etc., a chance to look long and hard at her and Bill. That cannot be good. She will need, as soon as possible, to get back to a position where she can spin and manipulate the press and mold public opinion.
When it comes to hardball, remember, she had 8 years to assemble as many skeletons with the best methods available on any potential opponenet.
Condit is helping her (and Bush) a whole lot now by not stepping down.
Is that too many topics for one post or thread?
And despite DCL's enthusiastic endorsement, I still have yet to see the tiger-Dragon movie.
