The Democratic Party controls the state and its largest city. Both are in MASSIVE debt with uncontrolled pension obligations. The Republican Party is useless as tits on a bull.

The Party (there is only one) also continues to deliver corruption and insider-politics as a symbol of the state.

Anyone who thinks President Obama isn't a product of the Illinois Democratic Machine has not paid attention. The Federal Government is already setting DEBT RECORDS and it is unsustainable.

Not exactly true. Four of our last seven governors have been Republicans (including a stretch of three in a row from 1977 to 2003 when a lot of the damage you're talking about was done). Our elected officials are corrupt across the board, thank you (four of the last eight governors have gone to prison with another indicted back in the fifties).

The ham and turkey are on par with each other, but the Italian cuts - pepperoni, salamani - are better, as is the roast beef. the pickles are better at Jimmy Johns, but no where near as good as a deli's!!
