Jew-hating Mexicans and other shit I never considered

I was talking to one of my subordinates who is an American citizen of Mexican descent. He has lived in the U.S. for about twenty years. He is taking a vacation to Monterrey, Mexico next week and we were talking about the Mexican economy. I remarked that I thought their economy had improved a little over the last decade, because the world economy has improved in general, up until the last year or so anyway.

He responded by saying yes, but the Mexican economy is still pretty much in shambles. I asked why he thought things have remained so bad, and he replied, "Well, I think it would get better if it weren't for the Jews." Taken aback, I asked him why he would think a thing like that. He replied it was common knowledge that Jews were greedy, and controlled all the banking systems in the world, and Mexico was no exception.

I told him I had never thought of him as an ignorant fuckhead, at least not until now. He asked if I was Jewish, and I asked him "what do YOU think?", and walked out of the room. I plan on getting some mileage out of this.

Just struck me sort of funny to be working with a Mexican Jew-hater. Who'da thunkit?

gotta admit, it's a first for me as well, and being from the country RIGHT below Mexico, I can say, no matter WHO controls the banks in Central America, (My guess has always been the druglords, but I could be wrong), that our Quetzal (dollar) is worth .12 U.S. Cents, thus being roughly 8 to 1 ratio. So nope, unfortunately, the economy isn't any better really in some countries.
