So, what's your point? The bible tells us all sorts of stuff, most of it contridicting, so, who is right? Which book to follow? Which testament?

Not only the meanings lost or confused in translation...but you also have to consider the original writers. What was their agenda? Who were they? What was the political atmosphere at the time of the writing? So many factors, so many opinions.

Seriously, I'm a devout Christian myself and you don't see me hitting people over the head with it. That's one sure way to turn people away from your message. Remember the Bible also says that God opposes the haughty ones (James 4:6).
