Jeff Bridges

Cant remember when i saw the film thunderbolt last, i can only remember the ending now, the last movie i saw of him was true grit, im not a huge western fan but someone had it on

King Kong ‘76 has always been high on my list of Jeff Bridges performances. Granted it’s 70s cheese but nothing wrong with his co-star Jessica Lange.

Jeff Lebowski always struck me as what happened to the idealistic Jack Prescott from Kong. The Big Lebowski is also a favorite.

I thought he was really good in the Tron sequel as well.

Lebowski, obvs.

Starman is a close second. It’s not the best film ever made, but it’s got a very sentimental tie for me.

I forgot Starman. Guns make me a little bit...jumpy. :)

Also, The Giver and Tron.

I have different tastes in movies...

And, I haven't seen all of his movies, that's for sure.

I think The Giver, then, BINGO! *sp-it* would be my top two.

Starman is largely forgotten and that's too bad because it's a great movie. Thunderbolt and Lightfoot as well. You almost never hear about it anymore but it's really good.

He kinda sucked in True Grit. Hell except for the girl the whole movie kinda sucked. It gets a pass cuz Coens but shouldn't.

I like him in roles as the likable bad guy so Jagged Edge and Iron Man come to mind.

Probably the worst thing I saw him in was RIPD. I wanted to like it. It had a stellar cast and the trailer was kind of funny. But it stunk bad.

Are you calling dibs on kris ? him , Keith and ozzy are already taken
wow, I didn't know kk was in so many movies - I liked star is born and heaven's gate.
I'm sorry I missed him in planet of the apes haha.
he's a Rhodes scholar, I think.
he's cool, I know that.
the talks slow, calculated - that talk I understand.
I'm his fan :)

I just watched R.I.P.D.

It's like MIB but with the dead instead of aliens, Fun watch.

Rancho Deluxe ‘75.

If you want to take a walk down memory lane and relive mid-70’s drive in fare, this is your movie!
Jeff, Sam Waterston, Slim Pickens, Harry-Dean Stanton, just to name a few.

Lot’s of cool old 70 era trucks, bulls, guns, and tits and ass! The cinematography was unbelievable! Filmed in Montana.

How I came to find the movie is a round about tale. I’ve had the Jimmy Buffet box set since ‘90-91, and in it he was mentioning he did a cameo in a bar scene. In fact I think he did the whole sound track or large parts of it.

FLIX did a Jeff Bridges retrospective a few years ago and played it. I was actually pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. Oh, and I finally saw Jimmy in his cameo! Livingston Saturday Night was the song performed.
