His name is No Ears. He's a neighborhood feral kittycat who we took in to be neutered. (We trap, fix, & release ferals so they will stop having these damn adorable kittens all the friggin time.)
Anyhow, we took him into a "clinic" where you could bring as many ferals as you liked and they'd fix em. On the release you sign, you allow the doctors to do anything they deem necessary to the cats.
Well, the white cats in our area are prone to skin cancer because they're so fair. The cancer starts on their ears, then works its way into their bodies and they end up dying.
So, the doctors saw that he had cancer on the tips of his ears and took them off. He looked REALLY bad for a while, and I felt like an ass. (I don't take ferals to weekend clinics anymore for spay/neutering.) Now that he's healed, he looks kinda cool. I think, anyhow. Like a little person. He's super friendly still, too. Rolls around on my feet, tummy up.
