For all you Clinton haters out there...

And for those who don't read Newsweek.

I like this bit:

"At 55, he’s the youngest, most kinetic and intellectually alive ex-president since Teddy Roosevelt."

<<sigh>> I remember those days when the world felt safe...

:)

What is it literoticans always say about msn?

Oh yeah.

MSN sucks.

So might MSNBC? :D

what i think is funny is that the Geroge"axis of evil" Bush admin. is blaming all of our current problems on clinton. Funny though how clinton plays it off like it's not a big deal.I mean its not like the man painted two big targets on the world trade center and invited the terrorists over. In fact he tried to pass a res. to stop Al quieda money transfers.and wasn't he the guy in the famous picture of the Sharon/arafat hand shake (though i swear arafat's fingers were crossed behind his bakc).

All and all a good artiicle, makes me miss the cugar smoking bastard!:(

Miss T

I think you need to read the article. It's very well done, for those who like or dislike Clinton.

I think it's a good piece of work and I don't normally like MSNBC

Thanks, lavey.

I glanced quickly and assumed it was crap.

(I have a headache and can't seem to focus. )

Will do and be back :)

edited to remove the foot from the mouth

I'm kinda torn on this issue...I'm a democrat, and i loved Bill Clinton...i could care less about his personal life, as a president, he was damn good, no one can deny that fact. I didnt vote for Bush, i voted for Gore, because I figured, well, we're doing so well, why screw it up?

So the whole vote debacle comes and goes, and i'm not really all that interested in anything Bush does...then comes Sept. 11. And suddenly, i'm looking at Bush like a protector of sorts...i know for a fact i wouldnt think the same way about Al Gore...no emotions that guy. I think in the post-9/11 era,Bush has been an effective leader.

But, hell, Bill Clinton was the f'ing man...there was something comforting about hearing him, like, let uncle Bill take care of bussiness, go about your lives, that kinda thing. i miss that..i really do

That was the magic of the man.

Despite all his personal problems, despite all the personal attacks against him which would have destroyed a less stable personality, he still got things done.

We did all feel safe when, as you say, we could go about our business letting Uncle Bill take care of things. It was comforting. And I'm talking the world feeling safe, not just America.

And do you know? He did get things done. It wasn't hype or false optimism.

He actually did it.

And without the fanfare we're all getting too used these days...

:)

What the fuck did he do other than nesrly getting impeached

At least he didn't try to hide his criminal side, and yes, the world FELT safe. Too bad the reality can't be a pulp fiction best seller, people only die on paper for a stupid leader's mistakes! OORRRAAAHHH!! :D

Who felt safe? The sleeper cells that acted on 9/11? Certainly not any woman who felt like rape is a crime.

And Clinton was the king of fanfare. You don't think he would have been in the front row to welcome back the aircraft knocked down by wong way?
