Jeb Bush, will he run?

Establishment Pubs are doing their best to gin up Jeb Bush to throw an early monkey wrench into any conservative hopes for 2016. They'd love to have another mealy mouth to run against the Dems. I think he surrenders to Rubio, what do you think?

Wouldn't be wise for the R's to have these guys beat each other up in the primaries.

I think the GOP will spend another campaign shooting at each other's feet until all but one run out of money.

If the stock market continues to gain and employment continues to fall, Republican candidates will have to fall back on social issues in order to get any support from their base and this will destroy their chances with the general electorate. The anti-abortion segment will chip away at the "rape or incest" exclusion and force every candidate to make a definitive statement on the issue. This will result in more incredibly stupid rape science gaffs, which pushes more middle class Republican house holds to the left.

The same goes for immigration. In order to get past Tea Party gate keepers, candidates must take a stand which alienates them from the Latino community. Look for a rerun of 2012, even if Rubio is in the lead. The only great division among Latinos is between Cubans and everyone else. With Castro (either Castro) out of the picture, next generation Cubans care less and no longer vote for the man who promises to make life in Cuba more miserable than anyone else.

The Republican party continues to shrink and loose support, no matter how much meal is in their mouths.

His name is poison. The minute he announces he will be destroyed by Republicans, the Dems won't have to lift a finger.

the republicans who run in 2016
will no more resemble the republicans of today
than barack obama resembled kerry or gore...

if jeb bush runs,
he will be formidable.

rubio hasn't the gravitas.
rand paul hasn't the temperament.
christie hasn't the stamina to remain cordial.
jindal hasn't the marketable voice.
palin hasn't the novelty to overshadow the... palin
haley hasn't the experience.
collins has the shakes.

there will be a dark horse or two, but still...

jeb will have both perspective and the machine.
and if he's serious, he'll have the time to do real retail politicking...

The only one that has a chance is Christie. He earned lots of brownie points with indies and dems over Sandy. But, because of that, the GOP will murder him.

It seems like he has already done a major flip flop on his main issue, immigration, not a very good sign. We saw how that worked out for Mitt.

Christie has little support with conservatives and his kissing up to Obama has hurt him in the Party. I wouldn't be surprised if he switched parties. The only hope Clinton has is the Obama like worship from the MSM that Obama has enjoyed.

You really are clueless, aren't you? The far right position you espouse is rejected by America. The only way the GOP can remain relevant is by moving back to the centre. The hijacking of your party by religious extremists turns the middle, the votes that count, off.

Early polling has Hillary Clinton destroying the Republican hopefuls.

He wouldn't have been nominated, his support was not widespread. That is changing as we move into 2016.

Never know since he didn't run. I'm surprised he didn't get the nod for VP. I honestly think he knew the R's would lose and wanted to wait until 2016.

Yet the extreme left has failed. I realize the low information voter you're banking on makes up a huge segment of the populace and might very well elect an Obama clone. The problem will be whether or not there's enough money and credit left by then to underwrite your commies.

What extreme left? Obama is further right than your last presidential candidate. You can't point to one policy from Obama that even comes close to Communism. And it's that disconnect from reality that lost you the last election and will lose you the next one.

He may run but he can't hide.

Personally, I think there needs to be some new blood. Certainly there have to be some decent qualified candidates.
