Someone just sent me a PM....his posts show the infamous "guest" and it says invalid user name when I clicked on it.

This sucks. Like him or hate him, he brought a lot of life to this forum.

I'll miss his Archie Bunker like personality and his fantastic use of sarcasm.

Doesn't look like a banning. The "guest" monicker isn't typically used. The user just gets the "loves spam" tagline, and nothing else changes.

If he's appearing as guest, that means he must've requested to have his account removed. The ones who are banned have "Loves Spam" as a moniker beneath their username.

I can live without that racist/sexist/pretentious lying piece of shit. I don't know how people found it amusing when he went about calling other posters cow and nigger and what not. I've really grown to appreciate the quiet over the last few months. JBJ resigning sounds like music.

They weren't attack so much as bait and many people chose to rise to it.

he was more manipulative than malicious and he played people here like a violin.

The fact so many people will be happy to see him go, proves how good he was at it.

I was happy to be his friend here. Then again I am not thin skinned and am smart enough to see through a ruse.

He was a straight shooter and I was raised by people like that. They said it to your face, not snark about you in a post without mentioning a name or go behind your back.

JBJ shared the ideal that is in my signature. There is a lot of wool in this forum.

I rarely read his stuff, except on those rare occasions someone quoted him or he posted in a thread...no I don't have him on ignore. Most time I actually laughed at what he posted. I may not have agreed with him, but I chuckled a little.

I rarely agree with JBJ, but he is intelligent, very well read and a great addition to authors hangout. The place needs him.
