So, I absolutely love giving head .. and am told I'm quite decent at it.

My problem is that after a few minutes I get weird jaw pain, especially on the left side. It's kind of like a stiffness and a throbbing, and it feels better if i close my mouth and bite my teeth down as hard as I can (not conducive to a good blowjob, lmao). Has anyone else had this sort of problem? Think it will get better if I do more or just sit around and suck on a cucumber or something and get my jaw more used to it, or should I give it a break?

This is caused by hyperextending your jaw hinge joint, it happens because your muscles around your jaw aren't in shape. It will get better if you do it more, tohugh if it hurts you have to let it heal. The same thing happens eating toasted bagels, crunchy granola cereal, or chewing more stiff types of gum, so you could consider doing any of these things to be exercise to increase your jaw muscle flexibility and endurance.

Exactly like sunandshadow said, you need to work out your jaw muscles more, assuming the jaw muscles are the same as the others in your body, normally you should wait a couple days between working them out. When you work out the burning feeling you feel and discomfort is from muscle literally tearing apart, they only take a couple days to heal and when they do they will be stronger and less sensitive.

Ahh that makes sense, cause I often get the same kind of feeling chewing gum or anything for a long amount of time. So I'll just work it out as much as I can, rest it if it gets sore again :)

Could also be TMJ (tempo-mandibular Joint) syndrome. People that tend to clench or grind their teeth at night commonly get it, as do people that chew gum a lot. In the mild form it's like the above have said: working it and some rest usually do the trick. In severe forms it can be like a constant ice pick right in front of your ear.

I'm a singer and I've had to struggle with jaw issues throughout my career, and I've always found that relaxing my jaw more when going down really helps me go for longer.

Also makes me use my tongue more, which is great for him! So maybe try adjusting your technique when going down, and try to avoid 'chewing' motions, which put more strain on the jaw. Hopefully it'll help you go longer, and deeper!

And lucky for me it makes me sing better afterwards!
