Depends. Jamesons is perfect for a flask. I like blended scotch for sipping on cold winter nights by the fire, and something like Aberlour or Macallan for company.

The right whisky, or whiskey, for the right occasion.

It's a complicated flavour...earth flavours. Wood, smoke, peat, ash, fire. Green hills. Cold fog rising off the rocky coast of Scotland. Gray and black pebble beaches, rattling every time a wave of dark Atlantic water washes over them. The taste of desire. The earth....the elements.

Not as many as I'd have liked, was only a couple of drinks, tight bastards. They did have some nice stuff in the shop though.

Just think it mixes with diet the best.

I do not think either are good enough to drink straight.

oh...and never mix it with coke zero...not sure why but it tastes like shit if you do.

Jameson is good but for Irish I prefer readbreast when I can find it. Makers mark is my favorite bourbon (and the distillery tour was fun) bushmills 10 year single malt is pretty good too. For scotch I either go spayborn orach or glenfiddich.
