The campsite is setup fifty yards from the edge of the waterfall and well-kept. A large red four man tent is set up so the opening faces the waterfall. Three mummy sleeping bags are laid out inside the tent.

A deep fire pit is dug away from the tent and surrounded by a ring of rocks to prevent any fire from escaping when lit. A very large pile of cut wood is stack near the fire, ready to be used. A large metal grill face lays near the wood stack, camping dishes stacked neatly on top.

Two outdoor lounge recliners sit back from the fire-pit, cup holders on the ends of the arms. A large picnic table is a few feet from the fire, large enough for six people.

The entire campsite is set up to be a cozy home away from the bustle of city life. Visitors are welcome, as long as they clean up after themselves.

I know I need to post up my SRP ideas, but I am being a little lazy atm. Perhaps it will be within the next day or two.

He sighs and pulls up one of the chairs next to the empty fire pit. He pulls out a notebook, scribbling a few lines of writing over the page. After a few moments, he stops writing and rips a page off. He tacts it on a nearby tree for anyone to view.

I know there aren't very many ideas as now, but more probably will be placed up.

Misplaced in Dimensions

The idea is based loosely off of Terra Nova. Humanity has been the masters of Earth for thousand of years, but they have almost hit the edge. Greed has kept the high players from allowing space exploration or other forms of colonization from being even explored. Because of this, humanity has been forced to live inside domes because of the dwindling resources and irrepairable damage to the world environment. However research has been made into attempts to open a wormhole to the past, in hopes of finding a way to get more resources. The first test is a success and a probe is sent back in time 12 million years. A second attempt is made, this time by sending a scout through the wormhole. However a system glitch sends the scout to a complete new world before he is completely cut off.

The world he finds himself in is that of myths. Magic rules in the world, technology barely past swords. As he tries to make his way, some try to use his advanced technology to further their own agendas. He has to decided the best way for his own survival.

Demons abound

Set in modern day, life becomes unraveled for humanity when doors begin opening to allow demons free. In an attempt to control or drive back the menace, gifted humans are gathered into school to train as mages. They are dubbed technomages due to their need to use electronics as foci in order to channel their powers. The story would revolve around two students who start out as rivals, but later become best friends and into lovers.

He adds another piece of paper to the one already tacked up on the tree.

Fall of a Super Heroine

An evil super villian was banished into another dimension after the super heroes were fend up with him, and decided it was the only to take care of him. He gets stranded in a dimension where most of the heroes and heroines are just normal humans in costumes, but they are good at keeping crime under control. A handful of actual super heroes exist, but they are spread wide over the globe. The super villan decides to go after the only super heroine and force her to his side as he begins to spread his own terror through the world.

Dragon slayers

A sudden shift in the earth's crust opens up several fissures during a modern day setting. Dozens of ancient, hiberating dragons that had been previously undiscovered are released upon the world, throwing things into chaos. As most conventional weapons prove to be in effect against the creatures, they slowly become the top of the food chain. This would be a story about some survivors finding away to survive, and perhaps turning the way for humanity.

Note: My ideas here are really only about the story. I try to keep details like the development of characters and their relationships open. I know some people want things spelt out completely, but I would rather finalize everything with my partner, whoever that is that comes forward with some interest in my ideas. PMs are welcome.

Looking up at the full moon on the crisp, clear night, he decides to start up a bit of a cook-out. Maybe if he was lucky, someone might decide to stop by for a visit.

Picking up the firepit grill cover, he checks it for a few moments to make cure it's clean, satisfied, it's place against the firepit. Several logs are thrown into the pit, stacked neatly in a tepee style. It takes a few moments, but a roaring fire is soon going. The grill cover is carefully placed over the fire pit, before he sits back on a lawnchair.

"What should I cook tonight?"

The night sky was clear, the stars shining brightly on the green land. The moon was just waning, giving a little bit of light to see by. It was barely enough for John to see by as he tried to make his way silently through the woods. Walking barefooted, he was able to make very little noise, but he couldn't avoid the sharp jabs of broken sticks and rocks. He paused for a moment, listening to the night sounds of the forest. The sounds of pursuit seemed to be far away, but that didn't mean much for him.

The sounds of running water sound reached his ears. He swallowed for a moment, the sounds reminding him of the fact that he had been denied water for two days. He had nearly been broken by the torture. However, the reason behind the torture made little sense to him. As far as he knew, he had done nothing wrong. As far as he could figure out, he had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He shook his head for a moment to clear away the stray thoughts, placing his focus on what laid ahead of him. He moved towards the sounds of running water carefully, crouched lower to avoid detection as he moved through a thicket of large bushes. The ends of the branches dug into the thin cotton shirt and rags he had been forced to were. He hissed softly as a few scarped along the bruises along his shoulders and back.

As he cleared the bushes, he nearly slipped down the steep embankment along the slow moving stream. He barely caught a low hanging branch, stopping himself. His bare feet touched the soft dirt, but he only had a few inches to go. He let go of the branch, dropping on the wet mud below, cooling the bottom of his feet for a moment.

He crouched down by the stream, letting his eyes adjust to his new surroundings. The stream was crystal clear and seemed to only be about a foot deep. He knelt down in the mud, scooping water into his hands. He kept watch around him as he drank, listening for sounds of pursuit. No sounds reached him, but he noticed a light in the distance further down the stream. As he strained to look at the light, it showed formed the shape of a window frame set into the side of a small cottage.

How many masks can one person have?
As many as needed.
How does another remove the mask?
As carefully as possible.
Though he seems to wear a mask that can't be broken, there is always one brave enough to remove it around.
Sometimes removing the mask is good, but not always.
The mask hides many things which must not be uncovered.
Do you take the chance and remove that mask, or will you do the safe option and walk away?
Only those brave enough and worthy enough may be able to remove the mask and not get hurt.
Sometimes the mask is wanted to be removed, but the wearer doesn't say a word.
How many masks must be exchanged before others notice what is needed?

Such a decision to make, to follow or not?
Does one really want their power restricted on what they can do, or do they want to take the reins themselves?
Such decisions to make.
Or perhaps there's a way to experience both to learn the ways more.
How does one really learn, unless they experience all you can?

A person who can bottom is always a much better top. Because they've been there, they know what it is to surrender control to another person.

You can always say no. Or red. And it's over.

This is your choice.

I know that. As I said, the best way to learn is through experience. I never said I wouldn't just out of spite. I'm not really treating it like a life changing decision or anything .

: smirks :

You know. You write something that is reflective and shows the promise of growth and then this...snark.

Do something original and instead of leaning on that smirk or a smart ass reply, show that there is more to you than that. Impress me.

Kneel.
Walk away.
Say red.

But do something other than smirk.

In between the lines there’s a lot of obscurity
I’m not inclined to resign to maturity
If it’s all right, then you’re all wrong
Why bounce around to the same damn song
You’d rather run when you can’t crawl

I know you know that I’m not telling the truth
I know you know they just don’t have any proof
Embrace the deception, learn how to bend
Your worst inhibitions tend to psych you out in the end

I know, you know
I know, you know

'Psych'

Enter the World of Darkness
What will it reveal to you?
Will you lose yourself to your worst nightmare?
Will you embrace the nightmare and ride it's coattails to the end?
Or will you fight to the bitter end for the final escape?
Perhaps you will find the light in the darkness and find happiness within.
Make your decision, it will be up to if it is the wisest one to choose.

A war was being waged behind the lines of life, and humanity was on the losing end of it. The human race wasn't in danger of being wiped out, but more of subjection to a stronger race. The Orinophechs had lived among the humans for quite a number of years, mostly in disguise in small groups around the world. They were able to shift their forms, mimicing humans and their natural forms. They had no one shape, but they too many humanoid forms when they went into their natural form. Some had feathers, centurion-like, anthro, and other human-like forms. They were completely white in their natural form, but their shadows often kept their human forms, allowing them communication. It was only this year that they had begun to exert their power on humans, though it wasn't as often as one would have thought.

The orinophechs had two ways of reproducing, either sexually or through attacking humans. The sexual means was very low, though their killing method on humans was slightly higher. They had a pair of tentacles which they would shoot from their mouths to force into a human, destroying their heart. The method would give an attacked human the ability to revive for a short period of time after the attack. The human had a chance of either crumbling apart into an ashy pile or turning into another Orinophech.

March 16, 2007

Jeremy leaned against his motorcycle as he took a few moments to enjoy the sunny afternoon along the main canal which ran along the outskirts of the city. His eyes were closed as he lifted his head towards the sun, his short black hair moving a little in the breeze. The past few days had been rather busy for him, and he was happy for the break from fighting. The battle from the day before had been rough, but it wasn't anything he couldn't have handled.

A large duffel bag was hanging off the back of his bike. Inside was the rider system, a special piece of equipment that had been made to fight with. Right now it was only a large metallic belt, powered down. He had gotten the system a few months before, sent to him as a birthday present from his uncle. He wasn't sure how his uncle got the system, but he wasn't giving it up. He had a felt the Opins were after the belt, but he didn't believe they should have it.

"Hopefully today will be calm."

He opened his eyes for a moment as a flock of birds flew overhead, calling out to each other.

Patience. That is the keyword for life. Sometimes it seems that trying to be patient is a strain, so hard to do. Sometimes one must just seize the moment, but that seems to be rare. I want to say I'm a patient guy, but sometimes I feel I should be otherwise. Life seems to just want to confuse me, no matter what I do. I wish I could find a way to get through things without the worry or stress.

The twists and turns we encounter in life makes it all worth while. Bad things happen, but good things as well. I wish to see what lies ahead for the future, whatever it may bring.

Well, things seem to be looking up for the better for me. Making more friends is good, but it remains to be see if I can keep them. While I've been able to hang onto friends, it's always a good feeling when one is able to remain friends with someone for longer than a few days.

I will also been able to finally travel to a place I've always wanted to visit, Japan. If things go as they should, I shall be there for a little winter vacation.
