Honey, We loved you right away......there was no need to get used to you.
On the other hand, I doubt I will ever get used to this heat. My apartment is just not equipped to handle it. I am fine at work, in my car, and out and about (they have air conditioning). When I get home to my apartment that gets the afternoon sun, I suffer terribly. Even with the fan right on me it is hard to cope with. Sometimes the best thing for me to do is just go to sleep and I am not aware of it. (At least my bedroom is cooler.)
It is starting to get cooler but not enough yet. Hopefully soon.

I'm sorry that R had to go home but glad you got to visit.

Hope we can talk soon......missing you. My Sis is having a terrible time in this heat. I have been having a problem with my left knee but will be watching it for a few weeks before seeing the surgeon who worked on it 15 years ago. My Dr. thinks I may have just strained it with all the work I did on my house this past month.

Good News, Jacqline...back in the low 70's here starting Wednesday---it is SO dry here--44 straight days with no measurable rain.
