I had to go back to work yesterday and it was very interesting to say the least. Typing and writing with a splint on is a challenge in itself. I do have more energy than I did before but it is hard to tell if I am back to normal yet. I did get 12 whole hours of uninterrupted sleep from 6pm to 6am Tues. night to Wed. am. That is more sleep than I got in a couple of days while I was working on the house. The throbbing has finally stopped on the hand and the swelling is starting to go down so I have high hopes for a full recovery. I just have to make myself not work so hard in the future (or remember to use my left hand too).

Wow!!!!! 12 hours of sleep, that is wonderful! I wish I could sleep that long! I am sure that you needed it. I am glad to hear that the throbbing has stopped and hopefully you will be back to "normal" asap. Have a great evening.

Good morning, I hope all is well with you. It is hot here again. Yesterday was 90 degrees (very hot for us that are used to mild weather) and will cool down to the mid 80's today. I can deal with a bit cooler.

I woke up with a lot less swelling on my hand and more flexibility, so I am going to try it without the brace today. I will take it with me in case I overuse it, but hope I can go without it because I can work so much faster without it.

Good morning, I hope all is well with you. It is hot here again. Yesterday was 90 degrees (very hot for us that are used to mild weather) and will cool down to the mid 80's today. I can deal with a bit cooler.

Don't overdo it Jacqline. Glad that it seems to be healing very well. So glad that the Jersey twins are enjoying the visit with SexyMom. I just got home from work and it is 76 degrees already. We are supposed to be up to about 98 and we are under Heat Advisory through tomorrow night. They say that the heat index could be anywhere from 105-110. Needless to say, especially since I have to work, I will be indoors trying to get some sleep. However, unlike you and AA, I DO have a/c and ceiling fans to help keep it cool. Take care and if I don't see ya have a wonderful weekend.

I took my brace off and seem to be ok without it. It seems that my thumb/hand is healing and the swelling is going down.

That is one reason I invited Angel to join me with her... not having hers I share mine. She would do the same... It was a wonderful time and still is... I don't know how many more years I have with her so I make every one of them count now..

{{{{{{{{{{{{{Toni}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}The splint is off and I hope for good. I hate it too. You are right about the pain it causes and it does slow down my typing and mouse use since the splint is incorporated into my thumb.
