PC died on me again --- I think there's something in the air here that just doesn't suit the 'puter. It's been down for over a week.

Still, I suppose it wasn't that great a loss, my jacks have been infrequent and weak. A combination of problems --- houseguest for three days, then when I was alone and had the opportunity I was too sleepy by the time I got around to it. I didn't even make the attempt last night. I couldn't bear the disappointment. Also, I was very sleepy for some reason. I did have the vaguest notion that I was letting down my fellow loggers and that morphed into a sort of waking dream of all of us stranded on a desert island.
