Lack of female participation seems to be a key problem with these kinds of events, even more so than sex parties...anyone (especially women) care to discuss why that is? I can see several reasons why women would lack any incentives to go to a Jack 'n' Jill party....and even some major disincentives!

Just my 1-1/2 cents...
It's been my experience that women who stay clear of sexually
uninhibited events do so for many reasons, but a Jenn pointed
out, the most common is probably self image issues.

Not just self image, and what kissinggurl said about "being the
only woman there", but it could also be a safety issue.....

WHICH brings into play, the PLANNING of this type of party is
important! What happened on the CT J&J party thread, is that
I took all the names who were interested, in order, but also who
showed the most interest....most of them were guys, and I ended
up putting most of the guys on a stand-by list. I wanted to keep
the party a small number (6-8), esp. since the number of females
was so low. You don't' want to have a party of mostly guys and
one girl.....or let's say, 15 guys and two or three girls. BAD
RATIO........plus what I also did was send out PMs to those who
made it onto the "final" list, and while the date was made public
on the thread, I kept the identities of those who I sent the PMs
to, and the location of the party private, as to not invite any
party crashers.

I've been reading about J & J parties, but they never seem to play out. I had been looking for a way to play out my fantasies in a safe way, so I started making relationships with women on line and letting them know up front that I was committed to staying in my marriage. Guys... there are women out there who are interested, but they are reluctant because of: a dangerous situation (as they should be)..... being caught by hubby or boyfriend... or being embarassed. I also think that a major problem is that most people have no intentions of participating from the get go. I'm not naming any southern state in particular but after talking to one of the active poster- i was informed that it wasn't rl.
